Fantastic camera, great quality !
The media could not be loaded.  Fantastic baby monitor , it’s built in with everything you need to for a good nights sleep. The camera has a soothing multi-coloured night light, 2x zoom and a temperature sensor. It also has a talk back function so you can reassure your baby.In addition when the VOX mode is on, your baby monitor turns itself onto standby once your baby goes to sleep then if baby cries or makes a noise, the Monitor switches back on saving on energy and battery life. This camera has great clear sound and would highly recommend !

Some good features
We've gone through a few different baby monitors, each have had different features we've preferred to others. This is a mid range, average video monitor. It's not the best but has some useful features. For us, we needed a video monitor with a clear picture, clear sound the babys end and a good range to reach out into the garden. This has a decent picture and night vision, I keep the camera plugged into the mains and the monitor is portable to take around the house with you, the range annoyingly doesn't reach my garden which was one of my main points. Sound wise the bays end, it's clear but can be a little crackly if too far away so isn't something I use often as it can sound a little weird! There's a feature when it detects movement to turn the nightlight on - this is useful when they're little and stirring, as they get older and more active I will turn this off so it doesn't disturb them.If used in range this is very useful and a reliable monitor, I need a slightly longer range and for it to be slightly clearer but a good monior nonetheless.

Good picture quality with that all important strong signal
Decent camera with some intuitive features with a few flaws. Good enough picture quality and strong signal.-This is a decent monitor that has plenty of features that will reassure parents. The camera offers a 360 of the room; it has temperature monitoring, and the VOX mode is sound sensitive, so it only turns on if the baby makes a sound.-Regardless of all the clever ‘extras’, the one thing most parents need is 100% reliability in signal. This set-up does seem to deliver that.-VOX mode, although clever, wouldn’t be my preferred setting. I like to see the room whenever I feel like it and I don’t think the energy savings advantages of this would be appeal enough when it comes to baby’s safety. I nice touch as an extra feature, but not an area I would penny pinch on, personally.-The picture was clear enough for me, and I liked night mode better as this seemed to be a better-quality picture, which is odd given that lighting plays a large role in picture quality. Nether the less, it is certainly good enough day and night.-Is it better than competitors? There are certainly cheaper alternatives, a popular choice being the BT range, however, looking at some less favourable reviews, as clever as they are with their features, it is the signal that can suffer. A baby monitor with poor, unreliable signal is completely useless. What I can say is that this set provides a strong signal, which is the most important aspect covered. 5 out f 5.

How Does it Fare to the Competition at this High End Price?
Though this isn't the best video baby monitor i've used, it certainly doesn't win the price for the worst. For the price, currently close to £140, there are better on the market. Way better. Such as the BT Video Baby Monitor 6000, even the name sounds like something to reckon with. In actual fact, this monitor by Babymoov, does everything the top video monitors in this price do. But not to the same great level, unfortunately. The set comes pre-linked with the parent unit, so the instructions in the manual pertaining to 'pairing', are mostly irrelevant.Yes, it has VOX voice activated sound. The receiver unit (parent's end) wakes from sleep mode and the transmitter unit in the baby's room has a night light, that switches itself on for 5-10 seconds upon hearing sound. This feature can be turned off. We had to switch off as we found it too sensitive, our daughter complained it effected her sleep, as every time she turned in bed, the light turned on.The parent unit goes into sleep mode - the screen goes black and no sound is transmitted when there is no sound in the baby's room. This is a handy feature to preserve battery life. It can be quickly overridden by a quick press of the home button. The video quality is better in night mode than in day mode, The video itself is cleaner quality with a still image (ie baby sleeping), it's somewhat grainy when the image is moving. The sound quality, at the baby end is quite distorted. Meaning your voice is not clear to your baby, should you want to speak to them when they're distressed. The strangeness in your voice at their end may spook them. The parent unit has a comparatively clearer sound output and the monitor is very sensitive and can pick up the slightest sound.3 stars, it's definitely a good enough monitor, but doesn't perform the same as others in this price category. It could have been 4 stars if it was more reasonably priced.
