Works great for me, for about 6 Months.
Works great so far on my 05 BMW 325i. Install was very easy if you Jack the car up pull the bottom cover off and you can see right underneath.. twist, pull, and pop out the old and put the new one in rotate and done.. not a drop of coolant came out. Mine was dirty from road grime, so I cleaned it out the plug with mass air flow cleaner. I also threw some di-electric grease around it to prevent further crap from getting in or around the sensor.I'd recommend leaving the rubber fitting on as it seems to be an updated version of the sensor. Everything fit great! Would recommend.7/21/22 About 6 months later, Light came back on. Will order from another brand and see what happens.

Perfect and as a customer stated, it just goes right in. Old one probably broke when I replaced the radiator. Did not loose a drop of coolant while replacing. Leave the expansion tank cap on and do it first thing in the AM before it is started. Zero to slightly negative pressure. Took longer removing the plastic cover with 6 screws than to pop the old out, new in and reconnect the wire. Took all of 2 minutes including lifting driver side with floor jack.

Perfect replaced for my broken sensor on my 2010 BMW X3
This fit well on my E83 2010 BMW X3 xDrive 28i.Symptoms: Coolant warning light, although level was ok.Installation: took about 30-40 minutes, as my sensor was broken (the plastic piece broke, so there was no was to unscrew it). I had to remove the coolant tank to access better, and therefore do a coolant flush.Result: Now my Coolant warning light is off! I’m happy with this replacement.
