Works to move the water away from the side of the RV. I would suggest that you add some caulking on the back side of the spout to keep the water from backing up on heavy rains.

Watch the existing hole patterns when you install. Works great stopped the dripping noise from light rains and black streaks from roof getting dirty

Perfect for what I needed to do on my 40-ft motorhome.
Just what I needed to feed my E-Z gutters into to drain away AC water away from our motorhome instead of down the sides where I was constantly battling white streaks. I road tested one on a 1600-mile trip to Maine from Virginia and back and it stayed on through some of the worst rains and rough roads imaginable. I bought more of these so that now I have a total of 6 although I have not used all of them yet, but will.

'Off label use', works fine
I used this in an 'off label' use. I wanted to divert the water runoff from my aluminum awning channel over the from stairs. I installed with some outdoor silicone. They are a bit flexible so they could be squeezed into the awning channel While I wish they were a bit longer, it does the job I hoped.
