Heavy locks
Good quality. Heavier than I thought. Simple and easy. Put on the storage unit doors.

it isn't heavy duty, but will deter amateurs from getting into your stuff
why pay more for a pad lock? someone with bolt cutters will be able to bypass this lock. but not many people around here are carrying bolt cutters.

Works fine
Its a decent lock, we use it for a storage closet in our apartment complex. Its not exactly high security but its enough to stop an "honest" person from taking a peek in our storage area. One thing I didn't care for is the edges on this thing feel sharp and pointy, almost feels like it could cut you if it was tugged out of your hand.

Solid and Durable
Solid and durable upon handling. A good sign that these can handle some hard hits. Lock/key mechanism is smooth. Already spent some time through some rain and storms and still look like new (shiny). Good quality for the price!

Who would ever buy a two pack of locks and not want them keyed alike?

Very affordable, very similar to the Master Lock 140 brass padlock
The media could not be loaded. Not a very secure padlock, but if you’re looking for a small padlock to provide a modicum of security, or looking for a good beginner padlock to practice lockpicking on, it might do what you’re looking for.It’s susceptible to a wide range of attacks, including shimming, combing, raking and picking. That might make it a fun lock for a beginning lock picker who wants it to practice those skills. As a lock for securing valuables, I would definitely recommend spending a little more for something that is more secure.It was less than the Master Lock 140 it resembles when I bought it.

Very cheap, don't use on valuables.
Well, it is what it is. A very very cheap lock. It does a basic job for a basic need. Would not use on anything of high value. It locks and unlocks. That's about it.

Happy to secure my shed with this
I'm happy with the quality of this lock. Its ideal for a shed bolt as shown in my photos.It feels solid and good quality.I like how it is edged and not rounded. I like how the brass has a brushed finish.I'm quite happy to use one of these to lock up my garden shed and secure my items.I'll update this review as to how it weathers.

gute Qualität, Sicherheit ist identisch mit Discounter Vorhängeschloss
Das Amazon Basics Vorhängeschloss kommt in einer kompakten Verpackung an.In der Verpackung befinden sich, je nachdem welche Größe man bestellt, entweder 2 oder 4Vorhängeschlösser.Preislich kommt man bei der von mir bestellten 4er Pack je Schloss auf ca 6,25 Euro.Jedes Schloss hat zusätzlich 2 Schlüssel mit dabei.Die Verarbeitung ist sehr sauber und man merkt auch, dass hier wirklich Qualitätskontrollendurchgeführt werden, denn bei keinem der Schlösser waren Metallreste vorhanden.Auch grobe Verarbeitungsfehler konnte ich bei keinem der Schlösser entdecken.Die Sicherheit wird durch ein 6mm dickes Bügel gewährleistet.Vorerst sollte erwähnt werden, dass diese Schlösser sich nicht für den Außenbereich eignen,da dieser sonst sehr schnell rosten und somit auch nicht mehr richtigen schließen und öffnen werden.Für den Indoor Bereich sollte man Sie auch nicht unbedingt für Bereiche, worin sich was "wertvolles"befindet nutzen.Diese Vorhängeschlösser eignen sich meiner Meinung nach nur für z.B. Spind auf der Arbeitsstelle oderauch in der Schule.Für diese und ähnliche Bereiche sind diese optimal und bestens geeignet.
