Lexar JumpDrive S57 256GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Purple (LJDS57-256ABPLNA)

This is a great USB3.0 flash drive. It's very lightweight, good read speed ~150MB/s, and write speed ~80MB/s (see attached pictures for the tests). The protective cap works well. Overall very good value for its price.

I bought this jump drive to store important files on my PC that I would not want to loose should a lightening strike take out my PC and USB hard drive. It seems fast and easy to use with my Windows 10 desktop. I have typically had good luck with Lexar jump drives.

Very easy to use. Transferred entire itunes library in less than 5 minutes. I thought it would take forever.

I purchased this so I would have a way to store my music once I got rid of my old desktop computer and began to rely solely on a laptop with limited space. With the extra room I had, I also used it as a way to hold video files I would need to save before I uploaded them to my in house cloud.After a couple of months, I noticed that it was getting kind of finicky about letting files be written or deleted. I would try to write to the stick, and it would eject itself. I tried to pull data from it in case I needed to reformat it. I finally ejected it to give it one last try, but it died. My computer wouldn't read it, and my disk utility could not repair it.Lexar to the rescue! I contacted them and explained what had happened. They created an RMA, so all I had to do was send it in. They would inspect it, and if it was in a state where the data could not be recovered or the stick was found to be defective, they would replace it. They did, and quickly!Big props to Lexar for such awesome customer service. I would have given this item 5 stars if the first one wouldn't have failed. Outside of that issue, it's always been solid, although it seems a tad bit slower to transfer data than my Sandisk. I love the plastic cover slide design. It helps minimize how far out the usb stick comes out from the computer.

This flash drive has worked well for me. No issues so far. Really like the color.

This is a great little drive -- holds a lot -- mine still not full.

I have some Lexar thumb drives I've been using for several years now. I bought this one to back up my growing files of camera images. Reliability is the key thing and Lexar has always delivered for me.

So far so good, it's got lots of space and it's pretty fast when connected to a USB 3.0 port. I don't like the cover that much as it doesn't really protect from dust but all in all for a 256GB flash drive at that price (when on sale), it's very good.

No complaints. Excellent USB Memory stick. 128 gigs of storage and it looks great! 5 stars!

La compré para usar en un smartv, en ese sentido si funciona, la reconoce y lee los datos suficientemente bien para poder reproducir videos.Lo malo es la velocidad de transferencia de datos, probé en distintas computadoras, todas con puerto usb 3.0 y la velocidad es intermitente, lo máximo 60mbps y el mínimo son kilobytes. El problema es que es intermitente todo el tiempo por lo que no es rápida y básicamente una decepción.No se trata de problema de mi computadora puesto que con mi disco externo me da 120mbps.En conclusión: NO RECOMENDABLE
