Oh gosh!! This jacket is amazing! Where to start?? It looks awesome! The inner liner comes out easily if you need it to but also secures well enough there's no slipping or bunching. The pads are removable but again, they don't move around inside the jacket. This is as quality if not more so than the $150 " professional" one we have. This jacket offers amazing protection, it fits perfectly, it is comfortable while being sturdy and strong enough enough to protect during bike riding. I love that it has pockets and everything is removable, making it easy to wash and interchange. Absolutely the best value!!!!

First off I just want to say that I do not drive a motorcycle. I bought the jacket because I accidently came across it while searching for a leather jacket. I liked how it looked and it had some good reviews so I bought it. I am very happy that I did because this is a very nice jacket. I have worn it for less than a week and I have gotten more compliments on it then any other jacket I have ever owned. But the most important thing is that we are going into winter in my State and this jacket is warm and it breaks the wind. We just had a winter Noreaster storm here in Maine. The storm had high winds and a crazy mix of driving rain, sleet and snow. When I was driving home in the storm I noticed a car stuck in a parking lot ( there was snow plowed up around it ) so I stopped and helped to push them out...it was raining and sleeting and it took several minutes to get the car out. Then another lady leaving work got in their car and got stuck so I then went over and shoveled and pushed her car and finally got her out after a few minutes ….again standing in the rain with howling winds and a mix of sleet. The jacket kept me warm and dry... I would not say the jacket is 100% waterproof but it is very water repellent and it kept me dry while standing in a fairly steady rain for about 10 minutes. I could feel like the coat was starting to get damp but not enough to go through the outer layer and the inner liner. I am very pleased with this purchase … it looks great, it is warm and I can remove the liner as the seasons change and it is decently water repellent. I removed the back pad but kept the other pads in because they fit nicely and are not very noticeable and I now know if I slip on the ice or snow my elbows have some protection if I fall. I think the pads may even help break the wind and water so I am actually thinking about putting the back pad back in. I will add that when I first put it on I was not sure that I would like it because it does not fit like all my other jackets ( it has more of a custom tailored feel to it because it is not loose and has a waist that fits more snugly with adjustable straps ) but after wearing it for a little while I realized that the fit feels great and it is now my favorite jacket. If I could give it a 4.5 I probably would. One thing I really liked about this jacket when I was buying it is it was a little more subtle as opposed to looking more like dirt bike gear. Adding the "Alpha Cycle Gear" really takes away form that. As others have mentioned they run really large. The medium is pretty lose, but the arms and shoulders fit, its's the torso part is the part that's pretty loose, but it's kinda nice because when I'm riding it never tugs. I haven't taken a tumble yet, but I can imagine that the padding being helpful. I took it for a ride this afternoon. I had the lining in and the temperature was in the high 60's. On the road going 30 MPH it was quite comfortable. Off road, where I was actually working, I got hot quickly. There are 2 pockets outside the jacket, the pockets are waterproof, which I suppose is okay, but it's not comfortable to put your hands in them. I think having cloth pockets with a water proof exterior would be my preference, but I get how people would prefer it the way it is.

I'm short and stockey with wide shoulders and thick biceps so I originally went with the XL based on the sizing chart recommended next size larger. It was way too big for me. Returned the XL and got the Large. The large fits loosely and the sleeves are a little long and puffy with 2 snap straps for adjustment. I like that it's loose so I can wear a hoody when it's cold and hopefully help me stay cool in the South Texas Heat! The insert kept me warm in 55° riding in February 2023. The liner has a decent inside velcro pocket on the left and a smaller "phone pocket" on the right. The jacket itself has a inside velcro pocket on the left and a very small "conceal carry" zipper pocket above it. So far it seems like a decent jacket for the low low price! As for the armor I hope to never use it!

This jacket saved my life and my whole left side when I had a bad slide crossing the Verrazano Bridge in NYC. I was doing 65MPH on some very old tires and got hit by a summer rain, jumped off, hit the road with my shoulder, slid off and rolled off all the way to the barricade in the emergency lane. The jacket got some bad scratches tears, and I definitely felt the hit… But a single scratch on me though. Highly recommend

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was very satisfied with the quality, cut, and fit of this jacket. Definitely too warm to be worn in the summer time but in the spring and fall it is perfect. For the money I don't think you can do much better.

Great jacket! I just got this jacket in a medium and fits perfectly. I'm 5'8" and 180lbs. If you're looking for a nice riding jacket at a bargain price, look no more. Get this one! Jacket seems sturdy and very well made. I checked the entire jacket for any damage or bad stitching and so far have found none. Venting looks good too with waterproof YKK zippers on the front, sides, and back. It seems a bit heavy for summer rides but that remains to be seen. You can pay $150 to $300 for a nice riding jacket or you can get this one for under $40. Get this one! Haven't tested it yet for waterproofing but from what I can see, unless you're out in a heavy downpour, this jacket will keep you dry. Jacket's a bit stiff but that can be attributed to it being new. It'll get softer in time.

Really nice jacket, strong, comfortable and good CE approved protection. Lots of pockets and zipped air vents. Also has removable linner for the summer. Exceptionally good value for money, I'm really pleased with it A1.

Good quality, adjustable straps around waist and arms, internal lining of good material and nice finishing. The offered sizes are big, I had to exchange the unit from XL to M to get the right fit.
