Tried out 3 different "scents" or this product in an effort to get away from highly processed, unnatural solutions. Goes on easily (not as greasy as I feared) and provides good odor protection for the day. Not as long-lasting as more processed stuff, but probably not a bad idea to shower every day anyway. Solid product; only drawback that prevents a 5 is that I've developed a slight irritation under each pit, so trying to figure out what the ingredient may be that's causing it.

Pit paste is applied with your fingers.
Note that you apply PPP with your fingers. If that bothers you this product may not be for you. But for me, Pit Paste (Regal & Rogue) works. It got a big thumbs up from my wife; that's what counts and I'll order it again. My biggest disappointment with the product was that what initially appeared to be a full jar had a large air bubble that used a large amount of the center of the jar.

Remedy for Pit Burn! Plus Scent Reviews
I love Primal Pit Paste, three stars for scent and armpit burn. Read on for remedy! Here are the pros:- it WORKS. I used to use the strongest antiperspirants available and always stunk. This brand has been life changing!- lavender, lemongrass and thyme, and Primal Spice scents smell wonderful. I am SO disappointed that Primal Spice was discontinued.- it's easy to apply. Just spread with your fingers on a clean armpit. Rinse hands. No biggie.Cons:- I had a bad reaction to the baking soda. Armpit burn and folliculitis. My dermatologist had me use hydrocortisone cream briefly to help. I switchedto the "light" version but it did not keep the stink at bay. Ultimately I was able to remedy pit burn by mixing in food grade diatomaceous earth into the jar (a couple of tsp). No, the burn and folliculitis was not my armpit detoxing. It was my sensitive skin reacting to the pH level of the product. (Strong enough for a man, pH balanced for a woman)- Royal and Rogue has an awful smell. I love a good hippy scent. This smells like damp molding grass. I've used the patchouli and do recommend that scent. It's just not one I can deal with evey day.- Coconut and lime stings a LOT. Not sure if it's the lime but beware. I couldn't use which is too bad because it would be a fun summer smell.I've used this brand for 2+ years and keep going back because it works (especially with my pit burn remedy). I like to buy directly from Primal Pit Paste but their shipping rates are high. With Amazon Prime it's less expensive to reorder (once you know the scent/version) works for you)

Wow !!
I'm speechless. I've had a problem with excessive sweating for a while now and I was considering getting the Miradry procedure done during the summer. After reading lots of reviews and blogs I decided to give Primal Pit Paste and SweatBlock a try. I've tried natural deodorants before and they never seemed to work so I had very low expectations of this one. My plan was, I try the primal pit paste first and if I didn't notice any improvement, I will move on to the SweatBlock and if that failed, it was Miradry as my last resort.First day of use was in 64 degree weather and I was dressed in an undershirt, a wool sweater and parka. With my old antiperspirant, the armpits of whatever shirt I was wearing was usually soaked with sweat by the time I left my house in the morning(no matter the weather), but with primal pit paste, half way through the day all I had was a faint whiff of baking soda and no wetness. That has never happened before in my adult life ! A whole day of dry pits ! wow !I have come to the conclusion that I might have been allergic to some ingredient in conventional antiperspirant because the stronger the antiperspirant, the more I sweat. I know Primal Pit paste is a deodorant and not an antiperspirant but it works better than any antiperspirant I have ever used. You just got yourselves a customer for life. My white shirts, armpits and bank account are grateful :)

Incredible! This has changed my life!
I've held off on my review because I wanted to use this deodorant for more than a week. And WOW!!!! I am so pleased to have tried this! I'm 38 years old and I've always been embarrassed by odor. So much so, that I went on a prescription medication years ago that helped - but burned my skin and left it raw. But I was desperate and continued to use it until I became pregnant fir my children. Over the years I would just go back to deoderants that didn't work. I would just rewash as often as I could and reapply deoderabts. I've tried natural deoderants and still could not find something that worked. I read the reviews and decided to try this deoderant, and ITS AMAZING! I actually have not had odor since using it! In fact, I tested this out in the hottest weather I've ever experienced in Disney (in the month of June) and it's been just as amazing! I could never go out into the sun and not feel self conscious about odor. This deoderant has been life changing for me. I know it sounds silly, but it's true. I'm floored by the results (and how little you actually use) and if it cost $50, I would probably pay it because it truly is THAT amazing! I hope you give it a try. You won't be sorry...

Works like the others, but not a fan of the Royal & Rouge
Works well just like the unscented variety, but the scent is not for me. It's pretty strong, and smells like powerful redwood oil and some other kind of herbal scents. It kind of smells like you rubbed a bunch of herbal medicine on your body or doused yourself with an all-natural cleaning product. It's not terrible, but I wouldn't consider it pleasant. I've been trying to use it up when I go out somewhere like the gym where it's already pretty smelly and people won't be too offended by the strong herbal smell. I'm a guy and thought this might be the most masculine of the scents, but I think I'll just be sticking to unscented from here out.One other minor complaint is the price - these are all a bit on the expensive side. One tub lasts me about 3-4 weeks, and I could get several deodorant sticks for the price which would probably last much longer.
