Clean and Soft
This is really great stuff! My dog is a therapy dog and she gets a bath at least every two weeks. She is a golden retriever and people just love petting her with such comments as "She looks so clean" and "She is so soft!". The shampoo rinses really well and her skin has never been dry. We now have another golden puppy who also is getting bathed every two weeks and she comes out the same. Smelling sweet (nice clean smell, not fruity) and looking good.

The best of any waterless shampoo I have tried
My local pet stores no longer carry this so I was happy to find it on Amazon. I have two yorkies that always get their beards in their wet food making for a crusty mess. One gets eye cooties that are difficult to remove. This product quickly conquers both. I do use some water with it as my dogs like to like it off their faces. I wet the area down with a warm cloth, apply the product, work it through, then wipe away most with a warm, moist cloth. I finish with a quick brush of their beards. Leaves them clean and fresh smelling without any residue. Great product to keep the smellies away between groomings.

A nice to have for your fur-babies
I have been using Miracle Coat shampoo products for my dogs. This Foaming waterless type is better when compared to "liquid spray type" waterless shampoo. With spray type I tried, it tends to make us use more since you can't see where the liquid sinked in the coat. With this foam type, you can see where/how much you are working the shampoo in your dog's coat. Then, massaging and rubbing off with a cloth or papertowel is just easy, especially when you needed just a spot cleaning or touch up during a travel. Also great to have if your K-9 got injured and can't be bathed entirely. The only problem I noticed on this item was that, this was not exactly the same as I used to get. My old item was Tee Tree oil based, and had a nice natural scent. This particular item apprently changed from old ones, using Jasmine and Aloe base scent. Thus, it is rather heavy scent while it's still using nice ingredients and fragrance. So, just be aware if you are picky on the level of scent. (I and my dogs can live with the new scent)

fantastic for dogs that have trouble standing for water baths
My Dane has trouble standing up so bathing her by the traditional methods is difficult. The waterless dog shampoo works really well. I can clean her up while she is lying in her bed. I don't spray it directly on her because she hates that. I first moisten 2 wash cloths and then I spritz them with the Miracle Coat and start cleaning her from head to tail. She loves it. I like start with wet wash cloths so that I use less of the product. The Miracle Coat contains a lot of conditioners and I like to dilute that down. I use it every day. She has super soft fur and smells great.

Good in a pinch....
This stuff is alright, but it's not as great as I had hoped. I have a shepherd mix with medium-length fur, which can get somewhat oily. She is happy enough to have me use this on her (which is not the case with the hose!), but afterward she doesn't smell as nicely as I would like - mostly just like a wet dog who also rolled in some perfume - until she dries out, which takes awhile. Her coat usually feels a bit softer, and less oily, so that's nice, but it's certainly not even close to when she's had a real bath.

It leaves our Cairns smelling great, and their coat is a bit softer and ...
I've been using this shampoo on our Cairn Terriers for 4 years now. They quit selling it in the pet store of course, (That always seems to happen when I find something I like) so I've been getting it from Amazon. It leaves our Cairns smelling great, and their coat is a bit softer and a bit shiny. I always be sure to rinse them well so the soap doesn't interfere with their natural skin oils they need to protect their skin. They should not be given a bath more often than monthly. I go about 6 weeks or more, unless they need cleaned up for some reason. This should work the same on Westies, Yorkies, Scotties, and all the other Terriers with this type of coat.

Groomers rate this as best pet shampoo ever
Years ago, I worked with a group of pet groomers. Not only was this their favorite pet shampoo, but it was their favorite flee killer. It worked better than pyrethrin for killing flees. The manufacturer makes no claims about insecticidal properties. The groomers discovered this perk through using the product.I had not used the product for several years because I did not have pets. After getting my dogs, I tried dozens of pet shampoos and was never satisfied. The stores in my area do not carry Miracle Coat. But after becoming fed up with the failures of all the other pet shampoos, I decided to order Miracle Coat from Amazon. Before ordering this product, I was considering purchasing a whitening shampoo. I decided to wait until I tried the Miracle Coat on the stains. Miracle Coat removed the stains and now I do not need a whitening shampoo.I plan to buy the gallon size when this bottle run out. I have never used the Miracle Coat conditioner, but I intend to try it when I order more shampoo.

Not really shampoo - more like conditioner..
My puppy hates baths and I thought I would try this waterless shampoo as an alternative to a bath. I used the product exactly as per the instructions but it didnt clean my puppy one bit! He is pure white, so it is pretty easy to see if a product has helped clean him up or not.The only reason I have given it two stars is that it is like using a good conditioner. It makes my puppy's fur very smooth and soft and makes him smell really good!
