Ceramic 16-oz Petite Pumpkin Cocotte - Burnt Orange

I have a few Staub items including various sizes of Dutch ovens and have love them all. I was looking for a dish for serving 2 cups of soup or chili for dinner. I have another set of these that I measured what they would hold. Since they would hold about 12 ounces comfortably, I ordered the .5 quart size (16 oz) thinking they would hold 2 cups. As it turned out the .5 qt. size is the same as what I have which is smaller than I wanted. Although they do hold 16 oz., the measurement is to the brim. My husband like to add crackers to both soups and chili, so the 16 oz. size wouldn't work. I decided to return the 16 oz. size and ordered the .75 qt. (24 oz.) hoping they weren't too large. This size is perfect. I can serve 2 cups of soup or chili and there is enough space above the food to comfortably top the dish with crackers, cheese, or whatever else without fear of it spilling over. I very much like all of the Staub products as they are very durable as I have had many of the pieces I have for over 8 years, and they still look like new. The Staub Dutch ovens can be used on the stove top as they are made of porcelain coated cast iron, but they can not be used in microwave. The ceramic pieces, such as these, can be use in the microwave and oven, but not on the stove top. I have never had a problem with the finish scratching or chipping on any of the Staub products I have. Although they are very easy to clean by hand, my husband does the cleanup after meals and puts them in the dishwasher. I personally believe the Staub products rival the much more expensive brand offered which I also have. I do very much recommend this set of cocottes, but be mindful that the capacity stated as it is to the brim. If you need any space at the top, I suggest you order the next size up. I love this ceramic pumkin! It's not going to stay here. I'll be putting in my china cabinet where it can be seen as well as used. It was definitely worth what I paid for it. The quality is good. The cook time is perfect. The weight is just right. It's easy to clean and the color is beautiful.

I treated myself to this for Halloween to use as a dip bowl for guests and it's soooo adorable that I actually find myself pulling it out all the time! I'm in love!

I purchased the petite Staub Cocotte mainly to use as autumn decor or as a candy dish. It is a very cute, high quality serving piece. This is my first Staub piece and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I also plan to use it eventually as a serving dish for hot or cold dips but have not yet done so. This is a very small dish, so I also purchased the companion medium-sized piece should I need a larger serving dish, and they look very nice paired together.

Got as a gift for my sister in law. She absolutely loved it. Excellent quality and she cannot wait to cook something in it.

Loved this dish. Quality is great, a thicker pot with some weight but it’s smaller than expected. Shape fits perfectly for the fall/Thanksgiving holidays. I keep this on my counter as part decoration but use it when entertaining to hold gravy or other small serving item. Gravy was easy to clean via the kitchen spray, but I hand washed it so have not tested it in the dishwasher. Have used this for multiple years. Would definitely recommend.

I picked this up as a gift for my girlfriend as an early birthday present, as she was looking for a festive candy & trinkets dish. She had been looking for a Halloween themed dish she could put candy and trinkets in during the fall. This black pumpkin fit perfect and could serve as an actual baking dish at times too which is perfect. I went with Staub because it's a good brand that we have other bakeware of. The only downside was that the packaging left some marks on the side of the dish, which is unfortunate but also minor enough you can really only see if you look closely. But this isn't a big deal as I wanted it as a container and to cook with, which means it will get wear and tear at some point during the use but will last for a long time.

I usually use the cocottes for side dishes. But these can also be placed in an oven for small servings of mac and cheese and mini pies.

Arrived in good condition no problems there and the delivery wasn’t too bad as for the 7.5 qt it only took 350 ML without overfilling it I was hoping it’s a bit more but oh well I will test it out in the oven , serving 🍲 soup and see how I like it , yes it’s cute but I didn’t buy it for the looks it needs to function well for the heavy price I paid for 60$ for one petite pumpkin cocotte 7,5 qt If I enjoy using the cocotte I’m buying more in different colors
