Perfect for what I needed

This product was very easy to use, understand and install. All information needed was given and use has been an ease. It works as stated and fits perfectly.

Does what it says. Saves you from having to wire a cat6 cable to the port and just acts as a female to female joiner.

I ran an Ethernet cable from one room to another and added a second router for better wifi. This plate worked great.

I don't use wireless if I can avoid it. I go to extreme lengths & expense to avoid wireless.

On the internal wall-facing end, I'm using a custom-crimped cat6 cable, and I'm using a premade cat6 cable on the outside.Worked on the first try without any problems.I can't speak to 10gig connectivity as I just have gigabit devices on either side.

Easy to make the Ethernet install look more professional. The only downside is that you need two cords, one to ply in the back and one for the front.

Had my electrician friend install it though I could have if I had the tools. Pretty easy assembly. You plug in the cable in the wall to the back of the plate, then you stick the plate in the wall and screw it into the drywall to cover the hole. Then you just plug in from the outside with another cable.
