Great product! Relieves pain and heals!!
It works!! I don't know why but I see some bad reviews and I think people either don't know how to use them or are using them wrong. These really are a lifesaver and make it heal a lot faster. I noticed if I put it on the area of my lip and there's not an overproduction of saliva and I hold it on there for like 1 minute long enough for it to attach to the skin, it stays on for a while. If it gets wet first it won't stick. You can even dry it with a cotton ball first. These are the only things that have helped relieve pain and heal it faster at the same time. I do recommend only using half if it's not real big because you get twice as much uses out of it and that way if it doesn't stick then you can try with the other half. These do not stick to gums and I think the closest to your gums the harder it is because of the amount of saliva that sits in your mouth in that area. But like I said hold it on long enough until you know it's attached and you should be good! Also, if you are constantly messing with it in your mouth it won't last as long because you will wear down the gel on the tablet. If you can get it to work properly it's 100% worth it and don't give up. If it doesn't work the first couple of times keep trying. I noticed another review also said that there was no phone number to get a hold of the company but my package came with a card with an email and phone number for dentemp on it. So maybe they did not receive one?? I will attach the photo here! I have not tried contacting the company as I haven't had any issues. I definitely recommend this over any other product that does not work or only takes away the pain for a few minutes. The photo of the tablet in my mouth is 2 hours after applying.

As an experienced canker treatment tester, this is my number one go-to.
I've tried 'em all. My medicine cabinet is full of about 10 different canker remedies... anbesol, manuka honey, canker-rid, KANKA, and way more. Upon trying canker cover a few months ago, I finally stopped buying new stuff because it works perfectly for me, alongside zilactin-B: - This product (canker cover) provides the best protection and my sores heal more quickly than with anything I've had before. That is because I finally realized that the biggest reason for slow healing is that they get poked and prodded without noticing during the day or night. If your canker sore hurts during the day, that means your actions are preventing it from quickly healing and the best thing you can do is physically protect it. Apply this as early on as possible and the sore will not last long, and make sure that you don't get the canker cover wet before applying it, or else it won't stick as well. Canker cover is the only product I've tried that very sturdily protects the sore, and keeps it reliably sealed so that food doesn't get in. It is especially useful at night, I was frequently hurting the sore while sleeping unawares. - But, for sores that are near the lips, canker cover is quite visible. So when I'm going to eat with a friend, or singing in choir, I use Zilactin-B to cover the sore. Zilactin-B provides noticeably less protection than canker cover, but still makes a world of difference compared to having nothing. Make sure not to put too much or on too wet skin or it won't ever properly dry, and it'll just fall off. Too little, and you get less protection. It may take a few times to learn how to apply it right. Those two are the perfect combo. I've been meaning to leave this review for months because forreal this has been a huge help to me. Canker cover in particular is a bit pricey but 100% worth it. Another thing that helped was getting my sharpest "wolf teeth" ground down at the dentist (they did it for free, took 5mins). Also, brush regularly and drink lots of water ;) Edit: Also! I recommend Squigle toothpaste, it irritates the sore less. I use the version with fluoride. My sores usually peak at just under 1cm diameter if not treated and are usually inside the mouth. Canker cover will probably not work for sores on the tongue, but Zilactin-B will.

I tried it out of desperation
I gave this item a try out of desperation. Those of us afflicted with canker sores, especially in odd locations inside the mouth, know the unrelenting suffering that comes with a flare up. After reading all the reviews about this item and having nothing left in the house except a salt and water rinse option, I decided to try ONE tablet, just to see if it would help. It was really difficult to affix to the sore - the tablet is bulky and the sore was not in a flat location. Just as I got the pill stuck to the sore, it kind of also stuck to my finger (yes I followed the instructions about how to apply) and pulled slightly away from the sore which caused a lot of pain. The tablet sat in the spot for about 35 minutes then it started to gel and congeal. It didn't feel so bad at that point, just kind of bulky. I sensed the slight menthol taste but it wasn't overwhelming. About two hours later it had expanded significantly and became a giant-sized slime blob. It eventually started to stick to a few nearby teeth. That wasn't the problem so much as once it started to stick elsewhere it tugged away from where it was supposed to be so there was kind of a ripping feeling away from the sore and of course more pain. It's a very difficult thing to manipulate and if you attempt to, be prepared with tissues and swabs and lots of uncontrollable drooling. Like another reviewer, I attempted to "trim" the outer parameter of the blob and gently used a toothpick on the outside area of the sore. Unfortunately, what remained of the sticky blob just kept expanding in its place. I decided to just leave it be and let it run its course as it seemed way too risky to remove it. In the end, it didn't contribute to healing the sore but it did cover it up for a few hours. I have yet to find a good OTC product that works to alleviate the pain, as well as the canker sore itself. Most, like this, are very expensive and yield mixed results at best.

Pain free but still has problems | Update: It worked
I have a huge sore behind my top lip—this thing has hung around longer than my dad. I’ve tried everything to get rid of it and ease the pain so I can eat fruit gummies but numbing only last so long and drinking is awful. The cost is outrageous for what you get, but it did apply easy. I stuck it right on and it stayed(it did burn for several seconds but that died down). Be careful not to touch it with your lips because I almost sealed my bottom lip to my top lip, this thing STICKS. I’ve had it on for roughly an hour—and it has dissolved somewhat, but not nearly close to what it claims. The box said 30 minutes and it’ll dissolve to a thin, clear film, right now it’s like a gelatinous puck. While that is slightly annoying, it has helped with the pain. I can talk without being in immense pain, I can lick my lips again HALLELUJAH! I use a straw to drink(sorry turtles), and am only eating foods I can stick in the back of my mouth (jello, fruit snacks, turkey sticks, mac and cheese, etc.) While I wish there wasn’t this mushy hockey puck stuck to my lip, I will take it over the pain. Update: so I had it on for 3 hours and it still didn’t dissolve fully. I had to peel the gunk off with my hands because it started sticking to my teeth and lips. Gross and ow. But it did leave the clear film over the sore so yay? Overnight the film also balled up into gelatinous gunk that I had to peel off. Overall I got roughly 3-4 hours without pain. Update 2: I used it again the next night, same deal. Didn’t dissolve, peeled off gunk before bed. This time I don’t think the film stayed on. It kind of slid to the side which is annoying but I was still pain free while I had it on. Just used some numbing Orajel before going to bed. I’ve noticed that these are actually healing this sore. I’ve tried the Colgate sore rinse, orajel, even my husband made ‘Magic mouthwash’(he works in a pharmacy). Nothing worked. These patches seem to actually be healing the sore relatively quickly THANK GOD! Worth it to me right now, but I would probably only spend the money if I had a bad sore that just won’t go away. If you have small sores in hard to reach areas, just rinse it. Dont use these.

Relief from Canker pain while you eat, drink, talk, and sleep; even with Invisalign
I have used this product (and the version that used to be made by DenTek) for years. These Dentemp Canker Covers are nearly identical to the DenTek version (DenTek no longer makes theirs). These work great! Yes, they do form a goopy gel-like blob barrier while they work; which can feel a bit slimy. If you have to position the cover near your lips then the goopy gel-like blop can show a bit while you talk while wearing them. I don't care, the relief from the pain is sooooo worth it. You can even drink and eat while wearing them, as long as you chew on the other side of your mouth and carefully (take small bites). You want to be careful not to catch at the gel blob, you do not want to forcefully pull it off. You need to allow the blob to dissolve slowly (which takes about 6 to 8 hours) as that is what really assists with the healing. They do have a minty menthol taste, similar to old original Listerine. The taste does fade after about an hour or so. If you wear the Invisalign braces trays, as I do, you will find that you get a lot of mouth sores where the oral buttons rub on the inside of your mouth when the trays are out. These Dentemp Canker Covers really help to soothe that pain and heal those sores. IMPORTANT: When you first apply these Canker Covers notice that the exposed side of the cover has an orange-pink vegetable dye coloring. Be sure to allow time for that colored dye to dissolve (about 30 minutes) before you put your trays back in. Otherwise, the dye will stain your trays. My sores are stubborn. It takes 2 to 3 applications to fully heal them. They are a bit spendy for the little you get (the price shown is for one box of 6) I still think they are worth it. I get canker sores often enough that I buy several boxes of these Dentemp Canker Covers at a time; so that I can always have some on hand.

There okay but pricey !
This works and does coat your kanker sore but only last about and hour and then you have to redo it you only get 6 covers and the taste is terrible also don't plan on drinking or eating when you put them on they dissolve a lot faster and they hurt initially putting them on and taking the excess off. So for that I give it 3 stars but it does work okay .

Love! Def get these over other brands
LOVE IT. It can be a bit weird on the inner lip given it will stick to your teeth and kind of get gummy BUT it works almost instantly. It kinda looks like a pill which threw me for a minute, especially given the thickness, but I'm guessing that's just cause of how much medicine and numbing is in it. My experience: I had a horrible canker sore in the center of my upper lip and it was making it hard to even eat or talk. These things however numbed up and medicated the sore so fast! Easy to use, just stick the white side against the sore and you're good. I only kept mine on for like 30 min and when I took it off, I felt so much relief and the sore was gone the next day. It does have xylitol, an artificial sweetener, so just be sure to keep out of the reach of pets.

major improvement at worst
This product has genuinely improved my quality of life. If you put one on within a few hours after biting your lip, you won’t get a canker sore almost at all. Even the worst imaginable canker sore is basically painless after just 3-4 nights of using these. I’m really not sure what all the complaints are about.

Buy these if you have cankers.
These are the best canker remedy I've ever been able to find. I wish they weren't so expensive, but it's worth the cost, 100%. For debilitating canker pain, there's nothing better, and I've tried everything. The items came quickly, too, so plus. They need to be used according to instructions and can take getting used to, but so worth it.

Works!
The most important thing is that it works! It is extremely expensive but when I have a canker sore I feel like I’d throw any amount of money at it to make it stop. So when you wake up in the morning the tablet has turned into a giant piece of sticky goop which is not appetizing, doesn’t taste great and is kind of nasty but I don’t feel the canker sore and it made it heal very fast since it wasn’t exposed to saliva. So it’s a win to me.
