This English Breakfast tea is the brand used by a local coffee shop. I really loved it there and wanted it at home. It has the strong bitter taste I love! I would have given it 5 stars but the strings to hold the bags come off upon use. The other issue was that the company tried to make me sign for delivery. When I wasn't home for delivery, they wanted me to pick it up somewhere. I ordered through Amazon so it would come to my house. I have no time to "pick it up"!

This English Breakfast is such a beautiful, rich brown in my cup that I almost don't want to lose that by adding milk. This is the smoothest brand I've ever tried and the first that I can enjoy with or without sugar. I find most English Breakfast tea to be too bitter and wouldn't dream of drinking it without sweetening.The pyramid shape of the sachet is visually appealing. I'm glad it's transparent so I can also appreciate the deeply dark tea inside both in it's dried form as well as once it has plumped up. I enjoy pausing at each step of the brewing to breath in the fragrance and notice the subtle changes.
