Fisher-Price Octonauts Octo-Crane Vehicle

I was hesitant to purchase this item, after seeing a few negative reviews about the pieces not staying together, and it being poorly made. I am glad I went ahead and ordered this for my son (who loves Octonauts and already has a large collection of Octonaut toys) because we are both pleased with this item! The crane arm section does come apart for easier storage and travel, but does not come apart so easily that its a problem or disrupts my son's play. And he is only three! Do not be put off by the negative reviews, this is an excellent Octonaut toy. My son loves how this connects to the Octo-Saw one, to make a "train". We will be purchasing the final " train" section soon!

Okay, maybe I don't read well. This is a fun toy and really cute but would have been so much better if I had purchased the rest of the "train." While it is a stand alone toy, the box makes it look much more fun if you had all the pieces to hook together.

We have a lot of Octonauts toys in our house, but this one is the least favorite. My four year old rarely chooses to play with it, and I can understand why. The crane pieces comes off easily, which is nice for storage, but it also means it comes off during play. This toy tends to tip over whenever you put something in the basket. Fortunately, I got this at a really low price (I know, you pay for what you get) and my child really wanted a crane, but if I could do it again, I'd steer clear of this one.

This is adorable and fun. It can be used in or out of water. The one problem I've had with all Octonauts toys I've used is that, for my 4 year old, they are too hard to put together and once they're together correctly (a job for a grown-up), they come apart again at the slightest touch.

This item is as featured on the popular TV show and is used for "lifting, lowering, and reaching up high!" The Octo-Crane, Octo-Claw, and Octo-Saw are each sold separately, but can be connected together to form a large "ultimate repair vehicle." I purchased each of them for my (almost 3 year old) grandson's upcoming birthday and I know that he will be so excited! He absolutely loves the TV show! The item is well built and he will get many hours of playtime with it. I am very pleased with my purchase.

great octonauts toy, the only reason i'm giving it 4 stars is because the price actually goes down to 5$... so be patient.

Love this! Tweak is so cute in her hat that comes off and on, and my husband and I were surprised at how big it is as opposed to pictures. Very reasonable price for a fun toy my toddler is going to love. His older brothers approve and want to open it!

Frustrates my almost 3 year old. Tips over and falls apart. We have the whole set of these yellow vehicles and they are all poorly designed. Two stars since my son likes the figure and does try to play with the toy. I wouldn't buy again. Buy a Gup instead.
