Lives of Saints

I love Swami Sivananda's books. This book however has many chapters written by people other than Swami Sivananda. This is mentioned in the preface to the book. These Chapters do not reflect Swami Sivananda's style of writing or his depth of knowledge. this takes away from the book. the parts written by swami sivananda are fabulous as always.....

Absolutely lovely book. Swami Sivananda is a realized soul and it is heartening to share with him in this book.

TRUTHFULLY THIS IS A VERY GOOD BOOK AUTHORED BY ONE OF THE NOTED HIMALAYAN IMMORTAL SAINTS SRI SWAMY SIVANANDA OF DIVINE LIFE SOCIETY THAT CONTAINS A BRIEF BUT GOOD INTRODUCTION OF OVER A HUNDRED RENOWNED SPIRITUAL SOULS OF DIFFERENT RELIGIONS MOSTLY ATTACHED TO HINDU RELIGION. I LOVE THIS 511-PAGE BOOK OF SPIRITUAL WISDOM.

This book is a very inspiring read.It contains lives of some modern saints like Ramana Maharshi also.You will find many golden nuggets of wisdom in this book.

Must read for all spiritual seakers. Very much inspiring one. Go for it. A gem in your library !
