Trangia Pot Gripper

The gripper is nice and light, only a couple grams difference between this and a titanium version. The quality is excellent, my only complaint is the edges on the machining are a bit sharp but nothing worth taking a star off. Some sandpaper and a few minutes work will take care of it

As mentioned by a previous reviewer, mine arrived with quite a few sharp edges. It seems obvious that the designers made an effort to align the sharper edge of the stamping with places you wouldn't normally touch. That said, the remaining edge is borderline & like the previous reviewer, I plan to blunt these edges before adding this to my kit (it won't take much effort). Another reviewer also mentioned this product left scratches on their cookware, which I'd also expect with these unfinished edges. Otherwise this product would have been a clear 5 rating. It's very light, has a relief that works with most pot lips, and is delightfully uncomplicated. I think the length of the handles is a nice compromise between leverage & weight/pack-ability. As a parting thought -- this is obviously camp gear, so I expect a bit of rough & tumble. My main concern is about getting these raw edges near contemporary, very expensive ultralight fabrics, which is why I'll bother to deal with them. YMMV.

This product, intended for use on Tangia products works well with them. Does not work well with any other product which has a thicker lip on it. I originally purchased this grip handle to extract hot pans from my air fryer but the pans I bought had too thick a lip on them. Product is worth the price but be sure you are buying it for Tangia products only.

either you have trangia set or not, you can use this to handle any pan as long as it has folded lip.

Worked great with my hard anodized Trangia 25 pan. Held very secure while I fried a trout.

Fits Trangia product very very well. A pan full of soup is very easy to handle with this product. So glad I purchased it!
