Perfect
Pretty easy to set up on a Mac. I use a different software package to reduce the size of the files. I am converting all my VHS to digital and doing my own streaming.

Mac drivers don't load in El Capitan
This claims to be mac compatible, but the mac drivers would not install saying there was either a problem with the driver software package or there was an installation error and to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer was non-responsive to my requests for technical support.

It had a very messed up installation on window 10 machines and only worked about half the time with the popular capture program OBS , and after a few months it's stopped working entirely. It also gets worryingly hot just plugged into your computer.

Not recognized by Mac OS Mojave
I bought this product, because I had a previous VHS capture product from MyGica that worked very well. It used El Gato Video capture, but appears to no longer be available. I had a good experience with that one, so I took a chance on this product. To start, the Mac OS installer shipped on the CD wouldn't run. I went on to the MyGica support page, and downloaded files until I found a "driver" file that contained the Mac OS software as a .dmg image. Now the software installs, but tells me that No Digitizer is present. My old USB 2.0 capture card would only work if I attached it to my iMac (5K Late 2014)'s USB 3.0 ports through a powered USB 2.0 hub. I attached the USB dongle directly to the mac, though a powered USB hub, and though a USB 3.0 interface on a Thunderbolt 2 dock. In all cases the software says: No Digitizer present. Giving up now not worth my troubleshooting time now.

MyGica iGrabber works. The software online did not work, had to contact the site owner to get a link for the correct software. Not the most advanced software but it works.
