OnGuard bracket can be substituted if you want to save some bucks
The clamp you need to go with this is unreasonably hard to put on... you have to cut the plastic sheath of your $100 ABUS lock and even then it is difficult to slide the clamp on. The Eazy KF bracket itself is very easy to install on the bike. Once everything is set up, it works great and feels very solid. $50 is a lot to spend on a bracket and a clamp, though! If you want to save a few bucks, it turns out that the OnGuard bracket and the ABUS Eazy KF bracket are nearly identical design.https://smile.amazon.com/ONGUARD-45008053-Onguard-Clamp-Bracket/dp/B0090C52SE/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2NP8RDTZ4WLZW&keywords=onguard+bracket&qid=1670521480&sprefix=onguard+brack%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-1The ABUS shackle clamp fits perfectly in the OnGuard bracket; I can't detect any wiggle. The ABUS Eazy KF and the OnGuard bracket look like they were made from the same CAD file! The OnGuard one does feel like slightly flimsier plastic and comes with different mounting hardware. It also costs $9 instead of $30! I am using Eazy KF brackets on my primary bikes, but I think I'll use my ABUS lock with OnGuard brackets on the family's less frequently used bikes. I've attached a picture of an OnGuard bracket and my ABUS Granit Mini X-54 with the 13mm shackle clamp.

Attached your lock to your bike for easy carry
It works great but I think that a bike lock should have this as part of the lock itself, after all tiy are going to be carrying the lock on the bike most of the time. I have an Abus lock that came with the holder and the attachment was molded right into the lock. It is quite expensive for plastic and you have to purchase the piece for the local separately at additional cost.

Expensive, but worth it
Yes it seems super silly to spend $50 or so between this and the bracket, but they're super robust.

works perfectly
this works perfectly with the abus bracket for the 54 mini lock. I originally purchased the larger lock but it was way too heavy. the benefit of that lock is that it had a built in mounting bracket. the mini did not come with any bracket so you have to get the eazy kf bracket separately and this adapter to mount it. You only have to cut a piece of the plastic wrap on the 54 mini in order to slide this on and tighten with the screws that are provided. it's so easy to put my lock on now and take it off. also reassured knowing that the abus has the highest standard of security.

Great lock holders for Abus locks
This are awesome. I have them on multiple bikes and share one lock rather than having a lock for each bike. I would give a 5 star for function, but a 4 because of the price. They are a bit too expensive for what they are.

Disappointed with ABUS EaZy KF bracket.
When I purchased this I thought I could use it right away but I could not. For the price it should include the clamp. Also the Hex bolt nuts were not included. I like Abus locks they are made well but ordering this and the clamp should be made easier. If you order this make sure it includes the Hex nuts for the price it should.

make sure you can find the correct shackle clamp for you'r lock!
would have given it a higher rating but trying to find the correct shackle clamp for my lock is a royal pain.

Item seems nice and robust
Item seems nice and robust, however I haven't been able to use it yet! As other reviewers have pointed out, Abus' info on the use of this item is pretty dismal (hence 3 stars). You need a separate shackle clamp for your particular lock. I own an Abus Granit X Plus 540 U-Lock so tried to find the required shackle clamp model on the Abus website -- not an easy task! I eventually had to contact Abus' distributor in the UK to discuss with them. After lengthy discussion, finally got to the bottom of it. You need to do the following for the Granit 540 u-lock:- Buy 13mm shackle clamp Abus item no. 45343 (also sometimes referenced as part no. AB 9215). Do not buy part no. 27348 or any other clamp.- Cut off a section of the rubber sleeve on the u-lock to fit the clamp (using box cutter, Stanley knife). Note that the clamp will not fit over the rubber sleeve as it is only 13mm in diameter.- Slip clamp onto shackle, tighten screws and you're sorted!Having to cut the rubber sleeve on the u-lock seems a bit agricultural, but apparently this is what Abus do themselves anyway for u-lock models with EazyKf bracket supplied. Nice thing about doing it yourself (according to the rep I spoke with!) is that you can choose where on the shackle you wish to fit the clamp which allows for more bike placement options - for me, not really a benefit.Anyhow, I've ordered the required clamp and may update the review once installed and used in anger.

Good quality and feels secure.
Seems a bit expensive, but it's a good quality product. I bought it for my second bike so that I could transfer my lock between bikes.Easy to fit, but as others have said, ensure that you've bought the right one for your lock.

The idea is great but in reality it's just a rip-off.
1. Buy ABUS U-lockFrom reading reviews you know it doesn't come with any mounting hardware. So...2. Buy ABUS Eazykf bracket.Great, job done. Eazy enough? Well, no. ABUS's website and snazzy demo video makes no mention of the fact that your shiny new U-Lock doesn't actually clip into your shiny new bracket. You need an adapter sleeve or "shackle clamp" as they call it.3. Buy ABUS shackle clamp.Oh wait, the shackle clamp doesn't actually fit my U-Lock. And there are lots of shackle clamps - with no clue as to their size or which U-lock they fit. Check instructions - nothing. Check website - nothing.4. Return all ABUS items and buy another brand
