I first purchased these shakers during the start of COVID and carried them in my purse... so that I didn't have to deal with restaurants not providing salt and pepper at the the table. I carry them in my lunch bag at work. I've since bought more for others to do the same. They LOVE them. They are super portable and waterproof.

We take them with us into restaurants, and we keep them in the glove compartment in each of our cars. I bought some small bags to keep them in keep them clean and it looks nice when we carry them into the restaurant. Nowadays you don’t know who’s been messing with the salt and pepper shakers

they work great for hubby's lunch box, they stay closed. Also have a set in the picnic basket.

Small & easy to use

The lid does not shut tight. If you screw this on tight it pops back open and you have to tighten it again. Disappointed in this purchase for use in my camper.

Flimsy

You can get this six-pack for about twice the price of an identical two-pack and always have something in reserve. This looks like the most economical option for shakers with lids although you can find lidless ones for less.You turn them over and salt or pepper comes out. Could only improve on that if they auto-refilled themselves from the fifth dimension.
