Hit or miss
Good quality e26 socket light kit. However, hit or miss on the nipple attachment to the light chain. Bought two, and I was only able to unscrew one of the nipples, the other one seems to be damaged in assembly and stuck. If you are able to unscrew the nipple, you can attach the one from your existing set; if not, you will need to combine the kits like the other reviewer did.Kit comes with 2 led bulbs; 7 watt 3000k 600 lumens

Not a bad product, but...
After only about a year, our new Hunter fan one day decided to blow both 60-watt light bulbs at the same time! We changed light bulbs with no success, and so we figured that the light kit must have somehow gone bad.I couldn't believe how expensive the light kits were, but I was blessed to find one from the Amazon Warehouse for $17. We were happy to see that it used "normal" bulbs (with the larger, standard base) instead of those tiny candelabra bulbs that our old one used. The downside was that we had to wait for the part to get here, which meant no light for a couple of days.My husband had a little trouble getting it on, since it seemed that with our bowl, the post was not long enough to catch the piece that screws on the bottom, and we actually needed to use a part from the old one to get the bottom piece on.We finally got it on and flipped the switch....nothing. So, we did a search on Google and then wanted to kick ourselves that we didn't do it sooner! We found out that since the government passed the Energy Policy Act of 2005, all ceiling fans have to be manufacturer with something that will limit the wattage of the bulbs to 190 watts. We found out many of the manufacturers put a wattage limiter inside the housing that will break the circuit if you exceed the wattage limit. Unfortunately, these are notorious for going bad, even without going over 190 watts (which we did not.) If this limiter is removed and the wires reconnected, it will allow the electricity to flow again. (I tried to find somewhere to purchase a new limiter, but it doesn't seem that those are sold separately?)So, five minutes later, we put two 60 watt bulbs back in, and wa-la! The real fix cost absolutely nothing! We decided to go ahead and keep the new light kit so we could use regular bulbs, but wish we would have known what the real problem was to begin with!

Perfect OEM fit for my Hunter fan.
The switch for the light went out in my fan and I tried to go cheap and just buy the switch but could not find one with enough threads on it. This was more money but fit perfectly and it works.

A beautiful Bowl Lamp install!
I was able to fit this to my Hunter Stonington Nickel plate fan. I debated replacing the whole fan for one with a bowl light. Mine has triple tulip lights. But I like nickel fans detail and finish. I did have to use the Hunters blank plate instead of the one that came with this kit. I drilled two holes in my Hunter blank plate to match the one in the kit. Since the light hanger attachment simply screwed into the blank plate, I added nuts on the inside of the blank plate for strength to hold the weight of the lamp and bowl. There was a preferred kit for my fan, but it was out of stock, every where. Also, I had located a tiffany bowl which had the detail and color to satisfy me. I did have to dawdle with the finial parts a bit to get precision. Thankfully, extra parts were included, so I had almost everything at hand for my retrofit. And the result is beautiful, functional fan with lights.

Works as it should
I purchased this to fix a Hunter fan, I had no idea what my model fan was. It matched up perfectly and works as it should! Nice kit, just wish the original light kit would’ve lasted longer than a couple years

Know your wiring
The product itself is nice and sturdy but when I hooked it up as the instructions said, the lights still didn’t work. Not the products fault. I had to find the limiter box, there is a pink wire that connects the black wire coming from the light kit, then the pink wire also connects to a blue wire coming out of the limiter. Remove that pink wire, connect the black to the blue and BOOM. Your problem will be solved. Don’t watch 5, 20 minute YouTube videos.

Works great but had to add some parts
I've bought two of these after years of trying to find 100w candelabra bulbs and finally I'm rid of that search. Yes, like many reviews here both of my bowl Hunter fans didn't quite fit with the setup of this replacement. I did figure a perfect way to make this work. For about $10 more dollars, I boughtAngelo Brothers 70150 Eight Assorted Nipples Angelo Brothers 70272 All Thread Lamp Pipe Kit & 70272 All Thread Lamp Pipe Kit Angelo Brothers 70150 Eight Assorted Nipples . This allowed me to add a coupling and small threaded pipe to lengthen the bottom area. Now I can fit a full sized bulb with plenty of room. I took the bottom off the old unit and added it to the extension. You could use a large set of washers but you will need something to secure the bowl at this lower level and allow the chain through. I also had to remove the top piece. It screwed directly into the mount in the original fan.
