Adapted For Coolaroo Shade
Coolaroo does not sell corded roll up shades anymore due to a child safety issue. I had no interest in hand cracking a 6' x 6' shade. The cheaper tension ones that don't use the wand were not my style. So i bought this kit hoping I could adapt it to Coolaroo. Its important to get one this size because it fits in the shade tube after a bit of work. I got my grinder out and ground down part of the insert until it fit in the tube. Took a couple of minutes. Then I hung it up. Works perfectly. We'll see about durability but it was 1/3 the cost of parts at Coolaroo

Needs a little shaping
These assemblies work great. They needed to be shaved down a bit to accommodate inner housing. Easily done with a Dremel tool with a sanding barrel on the tip.
