Designers Union Face Mask w/ Over the Head Elastic Bands, 3 Layer Washable & Reusable Cotton Face Masks. Made in USA

I prefer over the head masks and they are more difficult to find so I was hoping this one would be a good option. I generally use the ones by Los Angeles Apparel Company. But I was hoping to find something a tiny bit more breathable. These are probably slightly more breathable, and slightly smaller on the face. I do like that they are double-layer with a soft fabric next to the face. The elastic is wider and shorter so you can’t really tie it to size it like you can the others I mentioned. Not great print choices - I chose what appeared would be most neutral, but someone still told me I looked like I was wearing underwear on my face. They are soft and okay, but I went back to Los Angeles Apparel. Any suggestions on more breathable (over the head) ones would be greatly appreciated as I always seem to suck the mask in when I breathe wearing those. Not great choices out there really. What’s comfortable for one person will be different for another. These are good enough that they are worth a try. FYI: I have a child-sized head and am petite and am basing this review on my own personal experiences with this mask.

Having ordered masks from Designers Union on several occasions I can definitively say these are my go to masks for multiple reasons. They can be ordered both in stylish patterns or plain colors to match your attire, since in these pandemic times, masks have almost become a fashion accessory. Additionally, they are very well constructed, comfortable, breathable, and ergonomically designed. The over the head elastic bands completely eliminate any pressure on the ears, can be easily adjusted and allow one to wear the mask for extended periods of time, which for me, is an important consideration. Also, the shape of the mask in conjunction with the texture of the material provides non-slipping coverage over the nose, obviating the need for a separate nose wire which, invariably, needs to be replaced from time to time. We all come in different shapes and sizes but for me, and I imagine a majority of others, these masks will provide a fitting (no pun intended) solution. Equally importantly, after a minor snafu (earloops) with one of my orders (as I've stated previously, I've ordered from this company multiple times) the owner reached out immediately to address my issue. He suggested that I donate the ones sent in error and that he would honor my original order free of charge. Given the quality of these masks and the superior level of customer service I will again be ordering from Designers Union to add to my ever growing collection.

These masks are great for glasses wearers. They are comfortable and breathable and don't really fog up. I have bought several of theses masks and I really like them. The customer service from Designers Union if you have any issues is fantastic. I really appreciate it. The only issue I have with the masks is that they leave a mark around the nose due to the tightness. It's a tightness that doesn't bother you when you are wearing the mask, but it shows up on your face after wearing it all day.

First off, no mask is real comfortable, but this mask is one of the more comfortable ones. I really like the 2 bands that go over your head to secure. the mask on your face. Not fan of the ones that are head in place by bands over the ears. This mask stays in place very well, even when talking. The fabric extends under your chin by about an inch for a firm stay in place fit. The fabric is somewhat thick, but fairly breathable. Unfortunately, these fog up my glasses like every mask I've tried. I do wish they offered a bendable nose clip. As cheap as those clips are, I'm surprised few masks offer them. I'd pay a little more for that feature. This fogging is the only reason I gave this just 4 stars. Overall I'm pleased with this mask. Ended up buying a second one.

Company replaced one mask when elastic stapped from it. They actually replaced two since the purchase was for a tan and black mask. Can't ask for more than that..Per the product itself, there are 3 problems.One - they are smaller than they look. I had hoped my husband who has a beard, would have this cover his beard as he wanted. It doesn't. He likes it okay because it's snug, but the models must have small faces - or they're drawings.Two - the elastics don't go behind the ears as I would have preferred. They both got behind the end - almost as if they were attached wrong. It WORKS WELL like this - but again, misleading. A positive is that you can wear it around your neck when not in use and then slide it up into place. We both like that.Three - they're not very thick but the fabric is thicker than cotton. Again, they're thick enough but not enough to feel super safe. A bit warm in Arizona summer, but that's not the product's fault.I'd order these again, but they do have those shortcomings.The price is very good.

I ordered this mask with around-the-head elastic straps because ear loops kept snagging my hearing aids, flipping them out of my ears and on to the ground. The 3-layer construction has been shown to be more effective at blocking Covid-19 transmission than more common one- or two-layer masks. This is soft, comfortable and well-made. Note that it is smaller than many other masks, best for smaller users. Also, there is no metal nose piece so it’s not ideal for glasses wearers, who may notice more fogging.
