Not the same dye lot!
These two skeins were NOT in the same dye lot, which I unfortunately didn't realize until after I had already knitted both socks and it was too late to return the yarn. I was planning to give these as a gift, but the socks were markedly different and therefore I won't be able to. Extremely disappointed and am very unlikely to order from here again.

Love Kroy Sock yarn! It is strong, holds up well and my socks last for years before showing wear.

decent sock yarn
I use this yarn for knitting gloves and am pleased with the thickness knit on number 2 needles. It's important to wash only in cold water, since it tends to felt.

Not very soft
I have found Kroy yarns to be scratchy and not soft. The yarn is also on the larger side of fingering weight.
