Absolutely my favorite Mattress! We have purchased 3 of them. One is in our Airbnb, one my daughter has and this one I personally use. I have got compliments on how comfortable this mattress is in our Airbnb.I prefer a softer mattress but my husband prefers a harder one. This mattress is just in the middle and is a perfect fit for both of us. It smells just fine and didn't smell awful when un-packaging. It was easy to get upstairs as it is rolled up tight. Two of us carried it upstairs. We put it on the bed frame and tore the plastic. It does advise against using a sharp object to open the bag. It is a really thick plastic but we were able to tear it. It Expands quickly. We waited 24 hours to sleep on it and it was great! It doesn't seem to hold heat. It is sitting halfway over a heat vent but I don't overheat at night with the heat blowing a bit towards the mattress. I really like this mattress. It is not too soft and not too hard.

I purchased this mattress as part of plan to redo my room. I’ve had he mattress since July 2023 so here’s my rating so far: 1. I purchased on sale and was really unsure of what I was going to get. 2. Mattress came vacuum sealed in box that I could manage on my own if I had to. 3. Make sure (if you purchase) to put it on the bed when you’re ready to unseal because it begins to expand as soon as the seal is released. 4. I was really surprised and impressed at the quality of this mattress. I was nervous b/c my previous mattress was over 18” and this was only 13”. It expanded the moment we began to release the seal. It said to allow 24 hours for full expansion and I did, but I do think I could have slept on it that night because it expanded very quickly. The mattress was soft to the touch and had just the right amount of firmness for sleeping (for me). I was hesitant about purchasing a mattress online as that’s not something I would normally do but I decided to try to see what happened and I was not disappointed. I have slept well, and the mattress (so far) seems to be holding up as well as a store bought mattress. I don’t sit on the edge of the bed that often so I can’t attest to if will sag or not. So far, I have been pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this mattress is and to its quality. I would purchase again.

It still feels like I’m getting into a hotel bed. No changes in shape. My 65 lbs two dogs like it too. It was a good purchase and it’s been a year now. Medium firmnes. Im 135 lbs, 5’8, so nothing hurts when I get up, so not too firm nor does my back hurt from too soft. I think it was a good buy for me.

Function/ comfort: I have used this mattress for about six months now. At this point, I am literally sleeping in a hole in the middle of the mattress and it continues to rapidly deteriorate. In just the past couple weeks, I went to no longer using a pillow because I sink so far down inside the mattress, I just use the edge of the hole I am sleeping in as a "pillow." To turn over in the night, I have to do a pushup to push myself out of the hole to turn over. Hard to imagine, but this Zinus mattress is worse than sleeping on the floor.I wondered if there is a warranty for this portable sinkhole, so I called Zinus. The first several times, it really appeared they simply refuse to take calls by using an AI phone tree that denies all calls. But after calling multiple times, I realized it's just a terrible quality system (could this be a pattern?) Pro tip: the phone tree asks if you purchased from Amazon- if you say yes, they immediately hang up on you. I call back and said I just want to talk about mattresses, and the robot says "Sorry, I can't help you with that" and again immediately hung up, etc. So, after saying, "Buy a mattress" repeatedly, I finally reached a person to inquire about the warranty:The Bottom Line: The decision to issue a replacement mattress will be made by sending Zinus a picture of the mattress taken with no sheet or object on the bed. If an observable 1.5 inch sag can be noted, then they will issue a replacement, which takes a week. (Note: They pointedly have no interest in my actual experience with the bed, and or any pictures of me actually in the quicksand mattress of death.) However, Zinus has no pickup service for the old mattress, so the responsibility to dispose of the giant CalKing- sized piece of used bubble gum is mine. So, while the prospect of getting a replacement terrible-quality mattress from Zinus and the joy of watching their delivery workers simply walk away from my current La Brea Tar Pit-style mattress because "they don't do that" is tempting...In closing, I shared my unique view with Zinus customer service that if a company saddles a customer with a (unwieldy, impossible to carry) lemon, they should recognize the significant imposition on that customer and take steps to make it right. Zinus thanked me for this new, deep insight that I provided to them and promised that they would consider it, so that perhaps in the future some other person who absolutely wastes their money on a Zinus product will no longer be burdened with how to dispose of said item. I've owned two of these mattresses and they are so comfortable. In 2020 I bought a queen size and loved it so much i upgraded to the king in 2021 and am still sleeping on it. It's the perfect combination of firm but squishy, it molds to your body when you lay on it but you still feel supported. It had a good bit of bounce so turning over doesn't feel like you're laying on the ground. If you look up a mattress fitness chart, i'd say it's right in between a soft/medium, I had a sleepys plush before this and this is firmer than that but much more comfortable. Like I said i've had this mattress since 2021 and it's still like brand new. No sags at all and it's super easy to spot clean but keep a protector on it. We moved it across the country buy putting it in a vacuum bag and rolling it like how it shipped, and then we kept it in a garage for 6 months and when we opened it, good as new!
