Dehydrated Recipes, great for someone who can follow directions
My ex bought a food dehydrator on a whim and burned through $200 in meat trying to make jerky. Purchased this book to help him, it didn’t work, not because there’s bad recipes or information in this book, but because he thinks he can do whatever he wants and he doesn’t listen or follow directions. My only complaint is I didn’t stick around to try to make fruit leather because that sounded intriguing.

Good explanation on how to dehydrate
Well written explaining how to dehydrated fruits and vegetables. Allot of recipes to cook with dehydrated foods.

Beginner friendly
This book is very good quality especially for the price. The pages are nice and thick and colored well. As a beginner, I love that it is easy to read, not over complicated but also has some advanced topics. I can see myself using the recipes and instructions in this book for a long time.

The Only Dehydrating Book You Need!
This book is like the bible of dehydrating! It really is "complete". A must have if you garden too. Lots of recipes in the back too!

Fairly complete guide to start dehydrating. Well explained instructions and good pictures. The recipes are very nice to have and well written. As a dehydration novis this book helped me get started.

Can the book be better with a more involved content ? Yes ........ in future editions.
One of the better books around . I've read several others and they are not a patch on this one IMO,) . The book could do with a simple expected weight loss graph for each fruit /veg against time and temperature . I found the suggested times for dehydrating are way out for my Air fryer dehydrating programme . Results ranged from brown caramelized flakes that tasted horrible , to very rubbery pieces , ( which were by the way lovely chewing and favourable )

I used my dehydrator for the first time a couple of weeks ago for dehydrating fruit for Fall decorating. The apples were so good I chose to make a cream cheese dip and eat them. Not as impressed with the citrus for eating but they make great decorating additions. Starting more today to add to Christmas decorations. The cookbook is so helpful on how to use the dehydrator and prepare several useful recipes.
