This is the third variety of external filter bought so far and found to be the best. There's a fine porous cloth cover over the threaded yarn wound around a plastic cylinder, preventing mud and grime from entering the RO water filter. Only brand selling a single unit in addition to a multi-unit pack.

Though received sealed pack but unfortunately bottom cap with washer was missing in the package. Only top cap and washer was there inside the packet.
