Very Comfortable
This seat has reduced my pain significantly while sitting on the toilet. It is light weight and well designed for easy/quick placement and removal. The arms are solid, stable, and at the perfect location for confidence while being seated - and standing. I definitely recommend this seat! This is obviously great for post-hip-surgery, but also great when weight and not-so-obvious padding have been lost due to illness.CAUTION: Get the optional arms, and, select a seat height that adds to your toilet height to match your knees. The seat rests upon the toilet body.I lost 40 lbs. with cancer - which eliminated almost all of my padding for sitting on a normal toilet seat. It was like wood against bone, with only a layer of nerves in between! In addition, I had hip surgery.I needed a seat that had a larger, flatter surface to better spread the pressure among all of the nerves in my thighs and buttocks, and a seat that was at a height that would match my knee-bend height to rest my thighs evenly on the entire surface - and not just on the tail of my hip bones.I can still remember my pain while waiting for this seat to arrive. And the pain I would probably still have if my surgical nurse had not brought this seat to my attention! Good luck!

ONE GREAT PURCHASE !!
THE SIMPLICITY OF THIS ITEM IS SUPER AND CLEANING WILL NOT BE ANY PROBLEM AT ALL. ALTHOUGH SINCE IT WILL NOT BE USED AFTER OUR SURGERY, WE WILL MORE THEN LIKELY STORE IT WHEN NOT NEEDED. IT'S SO EASY TO SET BACK ON THE TOILET, I SEE NOT NEED TO LEAVE IT ON. THERE IS BUT ONE ISSUE THAT I CAN DEAL WITH EASLY AND THAT IS THE LOCK DOWN WILL NOT CLOSE TIGHT ENOUGH TO BITE ONTO THE TOILET BOWL RIM. AND IT DOES HAVE A BIT OF A WOBBLE FROM SIDE TO SIDE BUT AFTER I GET THE LOCK ISSUE CURED, I'M SURE THAT IT WILL BE JUST PERFECT. IT WOULD BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO MASS PRODUCE THIS TYPE OF ITEM AND HAVE A PERFECT FIT TO EVERY MANUFACTURER BUT THESE FOLKS CAME MIGHTY CLOSE. THIS IS GONING TO BE PERFECT FOR OUR APPLICATION AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE OR RECOMMEND THESE FOLKS AGAIN.. GARY

Perfect potty lift
My toilet was too low for when I came home from heart surgery. I purchased this to raise up my toilet without having to replace whole tank. It has worked very well and the handrails make it that much easier to get up and down without falling.

Glad I picked this one!
Raised to perfect height. Have broken keg, wrist and ribs. No home health so this seat kept me from hurting the other leg getting off a seat that was to low. Yes, it moves a little bit, but i had no reservations using it as intended. Especially like the satin soft feel of the seat. Nice touch!

Not for men
I am a 6’2”, 350 +lb man. It supports my weight adequately. However at it’s widest setting, it is narrow & restricting. There is a channel in the front for what I have no idea – but there is no place for an adult American man’s penis. Therefore as you attempt to vacate your bowels on this narrow, restricting structure, if you need to urinate at the same time - you urinate all over yourself & the floor, feet & legs. If as you use this device, if you’re accustomed to keeping your pants and drawers around your ankles, you better take them off, otherwise urine will be all over them as well. When I conducted a search online for a supporting structure I was very upfront and direct about my limitations. The vendor, in response to my direct & honest search, responded that their device would meet my needs….. obviously they’re greed for my money outweighed any consideration of honesty. The device does support my way and I can easily get up off the toilet using it. I had to purchase something like this because whoever the architect of this condominium was, they were clueless about how to install a toilet. My toilet in my condominium, is low & too far from any wall or supporting structure. As I just recently purchased Scandinavian eventually I shall be replacing all of the toilets with chair height toilet and I will be installing grab bars everywhere, something the architect apparently was clueless about - but all this takes time while I experience at least one bowel movement a day every day..

Easy to assemble but...
It was a very easy simple assembly until I tried to put the left arm on. The left arm was not manufactured correctly and would not align with the corresponding part on the chair. I needed to bend the armchair and hammer in the arm. Thank goodness I am light, fit and I probably won’t have the arm come out when using it. There is a no return policy, I get that it’s a toilet, however, if the product is damaged there should be some way to get a safe chair. If the chair could have been put together correctly, I would given 5 stars

Good product.
This has made all the difference for members of our church that needed assistance. Easy to take on and off. And has been stable.

Easy to Install
I purchased this model of toilet riser and a traditional one where you have to remove the old toilet seat and install with long metal bolts. Although the later is sturdier it also required a difficult removal of the old seat (which ruined the existing seat) ands took me more than an hour to install. This seat was easy to install Just lift the existing seat up, then place the seat ear prongs of this riser into the rear of the toilet bowl, then drop the front down and tighten using the knob shown on the front. Installed it on 5 minutes and retained the existing toilet seat. The hardest part is installing the arms on the seat before you install the riser. They are a little sticky or tight to snap together. I had the same issue with the arms on the other brand riser.
