Amazing book!!
This book was amazing and has helped me grow after my break up with my fiancé! My heart was broken and I didn't know why God had allowed it to happen. Through this book, I've learned to stick/cling to the Lord and to Him only! It's helped me to realize that I need to focus on my relationship with Him and focus on myself as an individual. It's helped me to be a better single woman. ❤

Sage Advice
This devotional was quite a different read for me; refreshing. While the premise of this book did not necessarily apply to me, it certainly peeked my interest. After reading hundreds of fictional books related to the woman always getting the man, reading a book dedicated to praying and trusting God for not just a man but the right "husband" was a needed change. Interestingly enough, this book casts a much wider net; married women can find themselves in this book. Sage advice and sound principals are offered to live a better life not just find the right mate in life. This step by step guide teaches the reader how to stay in God's word and shed many of the negative things and people weighing you down (something everyone can relate too). I also like that the author gives guidance without coming off as too "preachy". I will add to this to my keep & "refer to often" list. When I need renewal and lifting of my spirits this is a book I can go to.

Excellent personal development for young singles
I tried out this book because I was looking for something that wouldn't be only focused on pining for a man. This book focuses on being prepared for a potential husband by having a fulfilling relationship with Jesus. I liked that. No matter what God's plan turns out to be for my life I feel that I am using my time wisely. It encourages me to hope in what I have prayed for while still being focused on God. A good read and something you could go through again in the future. I give the book 4 stars out 5. I really liked the tidbits from the authors personal life which were relevant coincidently to mine. I would only ask for more of these testimonials to be shared in the book.

Inspiring
Originally when I bought this book I expected it to just be prayers asking God to send me a husband. Which is sad but I thought "The reviews are good...let me give this a try" The Waiting Room was more than just prayers to my future husband. It was pretty much a reminder to stay focused on God. The purpose of this book is to get you ready for your future husband. It helps you to deal with and fix your own personal issues so when you meet the man God has for you, you are ready emotionally and spiritually. The bible says "He who finds a wife finds a good thing" this book is more so directing you to be a wife so your future husband will meet u and, indeed, find a good thing. It may not be for everyone but i thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent read!
"The Waiting Room" is very thoughtfully written, with the devotionals connecting and flowing easily, while simultaneously challenging the reader to grow spiritually by providing simple but deeply insightful exercises at the end of each chapter. Although the book is written primarily for women waiting and/or preparing themselves for marriage, this book is beneficial for women of all relationship statuses - single, married, divorced, "it's complicated", in between, or otherwise.I found myself having several 'Aha!' moments regarding past and present events/situations in my life, and finally being able to relate and compare those events to specific scriptures. Ms. Spellen has truly produced a work of art that is desperately needed in today's society to assist women of all ages in becoming 'spiritually fit' and learning to trust God in ALL things, no matter how long the wait/breakthrough/manifestation may be.

Excellent read
It put a lot if things in perspective for me. I also feel it helped me build a relationship with God and get back to oPrating and reading my word. Its also great self reflection book so many things you think is right and so many things you think is wrong was the complete opposite. I'm done this book and as of today 2/5/17 I'm gonna keep myself No sex No Sex No Sex. This book was excellent

Wonderful Devotional!
At a first glance, I wondered what this devotional would entail. However I was moved to buy it and I must say I'm glad I did. T.C. forced me to evaluate some things in my life (especially people who aren't adding value to my life) and the guidance offered was practical and 'real'. Thank you for a great devotional with soul-searching activities.

Must read!!!
This book was such an inspiration to me and has caused me to think so much differently on my spiritual life as well as where I am now in being a single woman. It has shown me many areas that I know God wants me to change in my life before I am truly ready to be the wife that my future husband desires. The only dislike was that in one of the days devotional there were some things that I personally did not agree with when it came to finding a church etc but otherwise everything else was well written and directly from Gods word.
