Great device!
This is an outstanding upgrade from the Obi 202 two-line device. I like that the configuration interface is built into the device now, so you don't have to use the abysmal Obi web site to configure it. I was a little leery, given that they've been acquired by Polycomm, who I've had some bad experiences with. But my fears were unfounded. Note that it can be a little confusing to set up E911 service through Anveo, which you should do, but once it's done, you're golden. Works well with the latest version of the wifi dongle, which my Obi 202 never did.

Definitely the way to go for “free” phone service
This is the second time I’ve owned this product. It very simple to set up and works without fail as a permanent solution to high phone bills. When connected with my Google Voice number it get high quality absolutely free phone service over WiFi. I can answer on my home, cell or basically any connected number or device. I recommend you watch YouTube videos to walk you through the one time setup and enjoy. Definitely worth the price at only 1/3 of one months phone bill with AT&T

OBIHAI continues to impress!
I have been using an OBi200 and now a 212 for several years and both have been great. The setup is amazingly simple. Just connect it to a router, attach a phone and turn on the power. Next go online to the company's website and a few clicks later you have a fully functional phone.I have a free t-mobile line forwarding all calls to a Google Voice number. Now if someone calls either the old mobile number or the Google Voice number the house phone and all of the extensions ring. There is no longer a need to scurry around the house looking for the cell phone to answer a call. I really like having a dedicated number for the house so I don't get unnecessary calls while I am out and about. You can set up Google to automatically send you any voice messages you as a dictated email message. So you never have to miss anything and only respond to something that is truly important.OBihai is the best and most inexpensive way to implement a total home phone solution.

Great product, easy peasy setup
Most new homes no longer have a telephone cable tie-in, instead, phone lines come in over your cable so to get home phone service, you need a cable modem with phone modem built in (and get service from your cable provider) or get this nifty little gadget, which gets you a land line connection via Google Voice features. For an additional small dollars (like $12 a year?) you can get 911 service attached to the VOIP phone. Sound quality is great and phone services are top notch (Caller ID, answering, etc.) plus you can map the phone to your cell/tablet so when your home phone rings, it basically rings your cell phone.

This made Google Voice complete
I wanted a land line, but I live in Belize. I wanted the land line because I have a great cordless phone system with handsets in every room. I tend to leave my phone in some other room. There is always a handset nearby. I also wanted to have my cell phone, my wife's cell phone and the home cordless phone ring when a call came in. whether I was home or outside.I had been using Vonage for years, with the extensions app it did everything, but the monthly cost for the cheapest plan crept up.I screwed up and thought this was a 2 line box. Not so, the second RJ11 port cannot be configured as a second line. So I should have just gotten 2 OBI200s The second line is a dedicated fax line.Combined with my T-Mobile dual sim iPhone, I can receive calls at home or on the road using wifi or LTE from my local data plan.So since Google Voice is free. I have stopped Vonage. A one time charge vs ~$25 a month.Calls are eerily clear and noise free. The Obi Technology brought it all together. Be more careful than I was and make sure the Obi 212 is the model you want.

Great for a home phone line - KNOW THAT YOU NEED TO GET GOOGLE VOICE #
Great product. Pretty easy to install. It works just as good as a landline!Only problem/complaint is that the instructions weren't clear that you need to have a Google Voice # in order to set it up.

Received a OBi202 not a OBi212
Like others have said, I received an OBi202 and not a OBi212. Will update after the replacement comes it.But the OBi202 is a nice box and works well. But I need the FXO port.
