Super accurate color match, very thick but easy to work with. I didn’t even use the clearcoat and the touch up spots have all held through multiple car washes. I did use a needle file and a fiberglass jewelers brush to scuff up the chips beforehand and this obviously helped adhesion. If I cared, I’d file/sand down my touch ups and use the clearcoat but my focus is rust protection not so much cosmetics so as long as the fills stay put I’m happy. Because of my amateur application yes you can see every single touch up but I’d bet if I put in the effort I could probably hide most of it by slicing the raised surface flat, apply clear coat and some rubbing combined to blend.

In general I liked how the color matched with this. It's always hard to get the metal flake to match up well and not stand out, but it did a very good job, even on slightly longer runs. It's far less noticeable than the scratches that were on there. The only thing I didn't love was the clear coat. I followed the directions to the letter (made sure it was well mixed, out of the sun, in the proper temperature range). But for some reason everywhere that I used this, the clearcoat would crack and split, making the base job underneath it look worse than it did with just the touch up. If you tape an area off and use VERY fine sand paper, you can take the clear down enough and go over it a second time with the base touch-up and it will level out the cracked clear. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase, and I did buy a second kit after I dropped more than half of my first one.

This color matched my car perfectly. I would highly recommend you take the time to use each of the tools to for paint, regardless of how impatient you are. For example, they provide toothpicks for thin scratches. I was not patient and just used the brush. It matched the paint, but it looks like a kid did the patch job :P

I'd give this 3.5 stars. I got this for my Mazda spoiler which got a gash in it from some careless snow removal. The color match was great and the kit included some very helpful applicators. Overall the paint quality was good and it was easy to use and apply. The reason for the 3.5 stars is that the clear coat was a bit disappointing as it took forever to dry and even after a day or more it wasn't hard like a clear coat should be, it was almost like tape residue. This is obviously a problem when you're attempting to wet sand in between coats so you had to be extra careful or else you'd remove the clear coat, especially if you had to lay it on a bit thicker to fill in gaps. Overall the paint is worth it but consider finding an alternative clear coat.

The color matched perfectly on my 2016 Miata. It's my daily driver so it collects debris from the road like a magnet. This has fixed some serious chips in my front bumper, including one that was about an inch and some in diameter. If you are using it on a plastic surface, this kit won't work by itself. You will either want to buy primer separately, or buy the pack that comes with it.

Good price but does not match the blue color 42M of Mazda CX-5 2016 as expected.

This product is absolute junk !!! I generally don't write bad reviews, if you look at my reviews (for other product), I only write good reviews. If a product is functional but not great, I don't write reviews, but I can't help myself on this one. My new Mazda CX5 bumper (color 41w jet black Mica) was damaged due to garage door closing on it. I had sanded away the damaged area (about an inch square) and then ordered this product. I followed the instructions to the Tee. The paint is really thin (if you can call it that) and water soluble (which the instructions do mention). However my complaint is that the paint is really thin and also just would not stick. I finally got some Adheshion primer and applied that and tried many times. The paint sticks, after applying adhesion primer first. I put several layers of paint. After 48 hours, I polished it to even it out and everything including the clear coat came right off. I tried a test on an expired credit card with same results. Horrible product and very frustrating, leave alone a total waste of money and my time ! Today, I had to go to the Mazda dealership to pick up my license plate and picked up 41w paint tube from them for $12. I just finished applying it and it's already looking good. No issues with paint not sticking. I will wait for 12 hours and then polish it off (to even it out) and I'll be golden. I tried the dealer paint on the credit card and it's absolutely fine. Seriously, if I was the vendor, I would be ashamed to sell this product !!! I guess their strategy is to get the one time sale !!! Hopefully this review will stee off any potential victims and save them money, frustration and precious time.
