Works great to block the skimmer hole for water management
Purchased this cover to block the skimmer so that we could replace filters easily in our pool filtration system. This cover is nice and durable and covers the hood tightly.

This does not seal. It is defective. My old one seals better than the new one!
Tried to install today this new skimmer plug. It is defective and water leaks out profusely. Had to use the old worn out one. As i did not install this new one within 30 days of receipt I wasted my money! Test it as soon as received to obtain nd refund or replacement as there clearly are defective ones!

Pictures don't match product
Yes it's my fault for not reading the dimensions. I was flipping between tabs and saw the rectangle pictures in 1 and 2 for the product and thought I had the right one. Just know that the dimensions are correct, the pictures aren't the product.The product itself appears to be fine, just misleading as several pictures are unrelated to the product.

Pool Leaked Water
It was in all the way like the instructions said. But it moved a little bit somehow and the pool water leaked out down to the return. Never had this with my other one - going back to it - snaps over the lip of the skimmer and stays put. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy the plug type.

It was too wide and would not go inside the skimmer like they described
Did not fit the skimmer it said it would. It was too wide and would not go inside the skimmer like they described. Very disappointed due to the fact I thought it would be an easy winterizing plug to close the pool with.
