Mac Sports Extra Large Moon Chair

We bought this chair for 11 year old grandson. I wrapped the box it came in for his birthday, gave it to him sight unseen. When he opened it I was elated, it was better than I had hoped for! It's well made, great looking and so confortable. He could actually sleep in it comfortably if he wanted. I recommend it to for any age, It folds so its can be a great extra seat to pull out when needed.

Well, I am usually a bit more diligent about reading the reviews, so I have no idea how I managed to order this chair. Within a week of use, the tubular frame that circles the chair had broken. Looking at it I can see why: It's thin-walled, small diameter and is drilled through with fairly large rivets creating built-in weak points. Unlike other reviewers, we found the chair to be comfy. It's disappointing it's made so cheaply.***Update*** 01/22/15Apparently a spot I didn't notice had also broken. Where the front leg joins the frame it is only held in place by the cheapest of rivets. Extremely poor design.The good news is the company selling the chair has refunded my money after I took a picture of the damage and emailed it to them, so great for the company. They should stop carrying these cheaply made junk chairs made by Mac.

I spent ages trying to find one of these chairs and read about a thousand reviews. The problem with the reviews was that they seemed really polarised so people either said they were terrible or amazing.....it was hard to know what to believe. Well my own experience - It did break the first time we used it.....then we have repeatedly fixed it (with wire - don't use plastic zip tie's, they just break straight away) and it keeps on breaking. We finally replaced the aluminum rivets that were breaking with stainless steel bolts from home depot (10 cents each) and now it's held together much better. I'm pleased we've been able to sort it out but it's a really expensive item and it should be more robust. This issue aside - it's super comfy and I love sitting in it.....

The chairs are great AFTER my husband made some fixes. We bought two of these chairs when Target's cheaper ones were sold out. Both look nice, are well padded, comfortable, and arrived in only TWO days during Christmas season. But within a week, two joints on one chair and one joint on the other had broken from a defect in the manufacturing...or possibly in the design. My husband replaced the short rivets that popped out with longer bolts and the chairs have been fine since. But for the price, that shouldn't happen and I deducted 2 stars. The seats were used by adults well under the stated weight capacity and talking, not bouncing around.

Love the chair but bracket broke after one week and had to be repaired

Great chair. Easy to store and put away. Great for a game chair. This is our second one. The cushion on the bottom isnt grea but a pillow works wonderful.

Very comfortable and easy to set up. We take these camping and there is room for me and my dog in the chair.

This chair is as expected. It arrived much sooner that expected. It cost more than I cared to spend, but happy that we went with a more studier product.
