Frigidaire FFRE1833U2 18, 000 Btu 11.9 EER 230V White Median Window Air Conditioner

A great unit to replace our smaller 11,000 BTU Frigidaire unit that still works great. Tbe unit finally arrived with the box damaged. After our electrician finished installing the new 230v outlet and removed it from the box, the front top right corner was cracked and cord prong was bent. Hoping the seller will replace. Would be too expensive to ship back. Great performing unit!

I had to return this AC unit because the plug's prongs were horizontal instead of the standard vertical flat prongs. It is also 240 volt, so the house would have needed to be rewired to accommodate the higher voltage needed. The description does not state anything about the plug so I was put out about that. Unfortunately, I can't review this unit's performance because I was never able to turn it on, therefore the stars are for the lack of description about the plug. Decided to look for a 115 volt unit with a standard plug locally.

Liked the volume of air!!! The remote is so handy also!

This unit came scratched on the front and the pack of bolts was open and scattered around the box. Making a lot of noise and service tech can't come until August 4th. Too much of a hassle to return such a big item once it is mounted in the wall! Next time will buy local to avoid hassle of service and returns! Seems to cool okay which gives it 2 stars.
