Product is perfect - but be aware older Makitas were also M10 x 1.25!
Looked up my model number and the literature says my Makita grinder should be M10 x1.5 - it is not.I still have some of the original Makita accessories that came with the grinder and cleaned them up enough to see the M10 x 1.25 stamped on all of them.Not sure if mine is a early or late series model, but either way there is a correct adapter for it and it's great to be able to use more common wheels on such a reliable tool.

Does not fit a Mikita 9550H Grinder
I contacted Mikita via their website to see what size adapter I needed for my 9550H grinder. They said my model was too old (it was purchased around 2000 I think) and that they would have to dig back through records. The correct size for my grinder ends up being 5/8" x 1.25 - hope that info can help someone else in the future. The Mikita adapter didn't fit mine so I didn't use it, but it if it does fit your grinder I'm sure it'll work great.

I made the mistake of assuming this Makita adapter would fit my Makita 4” grinder. Wrong, incorrect thread size. B4 buying verify your thread size needed.

Great adapter for small side grinder
I bought this adapter because some attachments I wanted to use were only available on the larger side grinder. This adapter now lets me use those attachments.

Wrong thread
Not really a seller problem because it’s manufactured by makita but the inner threads are incorrect so this will never work.

Works perfectly with my Craftsman Angle Grinder
This adapter allows me to use the standard 5/8-11 threaded disks and other accessories.

It fits all 3 of my Chinese made air angle grinders.
Verified thread pitch on the grinder i was buying it for. Turns out it fit the other 2, 4" air angle grinders I have as well
