Edifier i285 / H285i Headphones Headset for iPhone - 3.5mm Hi-fi Earphone IEM in Ear Monitor with Mic and Volume Controls - Black

I needed to replace my earbuds, so I did some searching on Amazon. I wanted something better than the generic earbuds that are $10, but also don't want to be paying over $100 because they ultimately break on me over time. I came across these Edifer i285's, and having had a good experience with their audio products (excellent desktop speaker combo), I decided to try these. I've had them for a few days, and I'm not disappointed at all. Sound quality is very good, the highs are crisp, and the bass doesn't leave me wanting more. Build quality seems solid: they are lightweight, but feel very sturdy. The controls work perfectly with my iPhone 6. They come with several sizes of rubber tips, although the ones they came with seem to fit my ears nicely. They fit snug, block some noise, and have yet to fall out. I recommend these for people looking to get a step up in audio quality compared to earbuds in the $10-$20 generics online, but without breaking the bank spending $100 on some big name, over-marketed brand.

Would be 5 stars if the buttons were lower on the cord. These are up by the hear so you can't see them and also when you grab it to pause or change volume, it then comes out of your ear. my old pair had them below the V where they split and that was much nicer.

Despite the IEMs relatively solid sound, their overall build quality is terrible. The IEM itself doesn't really seem to sit comfortably in your ear, I have medium sized ears, and typically the standard silicone caps IEMs come with fit me just fine, but these seemed to just sit on the edge of your ear no matter how much turning or twisting you try to do (and yes I tried every size silicone cap they provide you).The wire is very thin and this is when the majority of the problems began. I used this set for less than a week on light use and the wire became damage. I noticed that when your moved the plug part of the wire from left to right it would actually pause and play the music, just by slightly moving it left and right!Due to the wire getting damaged I realized the audio quality got messed up, and the kicker -the inline mic stopped working (I tried unplugging the IEMs and restarting my iPhone). I ended up returning these.Do not buy!

Bought these as a gift for my husband. He says the ear pieces are comfortable and the sound is very good. He would like a little more bass tho. The mic works very well for phone conversations

After only using Apple earbuds for years, these take a while to get used to. They're the in-ear kinds, so they might feel uncomfortable to some. However, these headphones come with different earbud sizes, so one can change them for a more comfortable fit. Overall, the headphones have good sound quality, and I'm really liking mine.

Not worth the money. The mic is good, the sound is good, but the wire is thin and the manufacturing sucks. Right side where the controls are located started cutting sound out after 2 weeks, so basically useless for listening to anything on the go. Had high hopes, but no cigar. :(

The product is average. The earbuds due to rectungalar shape, didn't quite fit my ear. Otherwise a good product

These are a good value. I'm using these for audio books/podcasts and phone use, not music listening and wanted volume control. Fit is fairly good, as is sound. I can't comment on music quality. Arrived very quickly and very reasonably priced. I'm replacing a pair of Nixon buds with similar features that were a little more compact. I looked at other options, way more expensive.After a few days of use I'm still happy however I will say that the fit of my old Nixon buds was better even after trying a few of the different rubbers that came along with the Edifiers. I still believe these to be a good value.

Llego en tiempo y el equipo se ve de calidad adecuada. Yo lo utilizo para la PC y para reuniones y al momento todo ha funcionado de manera adecuada y clara.

Great product! I bought 2 pairs to use as back ups (one in each bag) for when I forget my Bose canceling headphones at home... The sound quality is fantastic for the price, as well as the noise isolation. As someone with audio processing disorder, I am easily over whelmed by street noises, and I have found that these work great for when I am out in the busy streets of Toronto without ear plugs or my Bose headphones... Only downside is that the cord is very thin, and I worry it will break easily..

The item arrived as stated and they are a good sounding earphone... but if you go to directly to the manufacturer's website (Amazon won't allow me to post the link) and order from them you can get the same item for WAY less or a higher quality item for WAY less.Again, good product but can get cheaper elsewhere. Just because it's on Amazon doesn't mean you get the best price.

Sound quality good, but volume control don't works on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Also, A bit to heavy in the ear so always come out.
