Denby Azure Shell Dinner Plate, Set of 4

The azure shell stoneware has a beautiful pattern with grays and blues rimming the plates and top of the outside of the bowl. The bowl is a generous size and can be used for both cereal as well as soup. The stoneware is thick and of exceptional quality. Denby has made stoneware in England since the early 1800s. You cannot go wrong with a Denby product. It is freezer and oven safe. I LUV this dinnerware. I am so glad I purchased it!

The photo of the Azure Shell mug shows the 'spot' colors in lighter blues and purples. The mug I received has spots in much darker tones. The blues are more teal and the purple more of a purple brown. While interesting, it is not the more pastel look presented on the website photo.

Purchased on an open box special and saved ~$200. The dinnerware is high quality, versatile, and very durable. In a word. Simply Wonderful.

I own a set of these bowls, but needed to replace one. The new one from Amazon is a lighter shade and the shell pattern is a bit different. I chose to keep it because it was the last one available, but I am disappointed.

Beautiful addition to my Denby collection!

I have a set of these bowls, ordered a few years ago from Amazon, but just chipped one. Love them! When this one came in, it was quite different than the others by being thicker, making it heavier. I am not happy with this since it's not like the original ones.

Seit vielen Jahren trinke ich meinen Tee ausschließlich aus Denby-Bechern und mit diesem erweiterte ich meine Sammlung. Ich wurde in Hinsicht Brauchbarkeit und Qualität noch nie enttäuscht. Manche meiner Denby-Becher sind schon 10 Jahre in Gebrauch und haben noch keinen Makel. Man muss natürlich große und schwere Becher mögen.Das Design gefiel mir gleich und die 400 ml Fassungsvermögen sind für mich perfekt. Einige Becher spüle ich nur mit Hand und klarem Wasser und diese haben über die Jahre eine wunderbare Patina angesetzt.Bei Bedarf Spülmaschinenfest, stabil, hübsch … was will man mehr? Ich bin Fan dieser Becher.

I bought these to mix and match the shell and coast range. Really beautiful and Denby quality is always excellent.

Ma fille trouve le motif vieillot, moi j'adore ce petit côté British. Le volume est grand, c'est ce que je recherchais (marre de prendre le thé dans des dés à coudre !) et ce mug passe très bien au micro-ondes. Si Amazon pouvait proposer le même produit avec les motifs différents, je n'hésiterai pas à faire de nouveaux achats.

we needed some new cereal/soup bowls and these are lovely. They are attractive but substantial and well finished. Two weetabix will fit flat in the bottom which in our household is important!
