Harvil Outsider Table Tennis Table

This product is clearly being made and marketed for the novelty consumer. I have a difficult time believing the 5 star reviews are real but I suppose it's possible as ignorance can be bliss.I'm a less than recreational player and I knew something was seriously wrong immediately when the ball lost much of its steam after hitting the table top. This setup is equipped with a 4mm top to keep the material and shipping costs low. The average recreational table uses a top thickness of 12mm and premium tops are 19mm+. A table top 1/3 the thickness of the recreational tables makes the product sub-par at a price that's only marginally lower than a 12mm top. Why? Because the thin flimsy top dissipates the balls bounce especially when landing in the center (where this no support framing) making play inconsistent.And, because the uninformed consumer (like myself when I bought it) won't realize this until after you have this 100 pound box sent to your house and spend a few hours putting it together...you're basically stuck as the thought of returning it is not worth your time or money.I highly encourage anyone thinking about getting a table to do a little more homework before considering this option...especially if you have played at any point in your life. I did my research after the fact and the informed players recommend 19mm+ top thickness only. The fact that this one is almost 5x thinner should be a red flag.On the other hand, IF you've never played EVER and are looking for a rock bottom price for a complete outdoor set as you're not sure your kids/friends will use it, it's not a horrible option.

It's hard to believe this product got such great reviews. I base my purchase on the good reviews.. I suppose if you want to spend as little money as possible, this is adequate. However, it's really very cheap. Chinese manufacturing at its worst. Putting it together is a real nightmare, and I'm super handy, So it really is not to be tackled by the average handy person around the house. I regret not spending $200 more and getting the real thing.

Really like the table. It was less expensive, so its not quite as sturdy as others. It plays well, just need to take your time opening and closing it since the sides are plastic. I dont have room inside, so we leave it outside with the cover on it. Has held up well for the last year!!Comes with a net, paddles and balls at a reasonable price. if you cant afford a more expensive, rugged table, this is worth it!!

Ours came from seller Dazadi and they have great customer service. The table we received was simple to assemble and arrived fast for such a large item. The table is sturdy and plays well. We haven't experienced any of the problems listed in other reviews. For this price point, it's been a great purchase for our family.

UPDATE! We responded to the first version of the Tennis Table in the questions but wanted to post our update here. We must admit that we were surprised to get a phone call from Dazadi to check with us about our table and service. To mend the long wait and slow service of getting parts to complete the set up, Dazadi sent us a new table. This second table is WAY better. It took less than 30 minutes to set up the table with the OTT-2 vs over 3 hours with the OTT-1. All the kids in the neighborhood say the bounce is a little better as well. I would recommend this updated version as well as buying from Dazadi as we have appreciated their customer service willing to make things right.

I did a lot of research for a good, solid, metal, outdoor table. This one is priced about the same as others I have seen do I got this one. Set up is super simple, just be careful because it is very heavy!!! It’s been outside uncovered since I’ve had it. It’s rained 4 times and my buddies came over for a beer pong tournament. It is still in great shape. Looks like this table will last a very long time!!! Very happy with this table

I love this table. Extremely well built and all we had to do is put on the wheels! Very sturdy and made for use outside. They even include a cover. It has 4 paddles in a nice storage case and 8 balls. We are very impressed!! Plan to use it with our grandchildren who are now getting old enough to beat grandma!

Great pin pong table. I've been using it a couple weeks. It is a very sturdy solid, level well made table. Well worth the money. It is made to stay outside, but since it very easily folds up and rolls, I just fold & roll it in the garage when we're done using it, it doesn't take up much space. Very happy with it.
