I am somehow able to write this review despite this product indicating that both my wife and I and my cat have a temperature of about 89 degrees. Before terminal hypothermia kicks in, let me say this. The product feels cheap, like what you would find in a kid's play doctor kit, and as others have pointed out the instructions are terrible and the box was crushed in transit. I could have forgiven that if the device actually worked but since I am a bit skeptical about its accuracy, I have to rate it low. I also wonder why there are at least 25 thermometers on Amazon's site that look identical!

Seems to be quality devise. Primary objection is that the instructions, including set up and operation are very unclear and finally had to download instructions from web. The type font is so pale it was nearly impossible to read, and the instructions not intuitive at all. It was very difficult to open the battery compartment. The overall function of the devise seems okay but again instructions and marking on the devise itself difficult to untangle. Would help to have an "on-off" button on the devise itself.

The temperatures are off. Take one person's temperature, then it doesn't work for the next person. Got it for my church food pantry, very disappointed. Now trying to find a better one that works. ASAP!!! This is the worst product DO NOT PURCHASE !!!!!

The thermometer came very quickly. When I opened the packages the box itself was smashed. Luckily the thermometer was fine. Seems to work great.

$89 and it feels like Dollar Tree also really poor instructions. Until reading reviews I did not realize there was a surface mode and human mode.Flimsy packaging And difficult to open battery door all add the feeling of being cheated.I think this was an Amazon recommendation! Mine is going back too junky.

THIS IS NOT CORRECT PRODUCT IF YOU WANT TO USE AT HOME. I BELIEVE THIS IS OVERRATED. SHOW DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE ALL THE TIME 81.5, 87.5, 85.3 F.

This device does not appear to provide an accurate temperature from the forehead. I base this on the comparison with 3 standard thermometers. However, if you take a t reading from an open mouth it lines up with the standard thermometers. The ear readings are slightly lower by comparison to the standard thermometers.

Wanted a well made, accurate and reliable infrared thermometer.Will take a while to use it and see if I got what I paid for.But it comes in a flimsy box, has tiny-type confusing instructions and is made with a very thin plastic....and as a higher priced unit... disappoints me .It works and that’s all that really matters.But is it worth the extra money?

Shocked to find that there was space for batteries and lanyard but they weren't there. Having read through the instruction manual 5. accessories included are batteries and lanyard also, it says that the batteries are AA but only AAA fit, sorry to be a pain but I am a little disappointed. I Know that no-one will read this but I can't get though to Amazon.

Measured vastly different temperatures from minute to minute. Not able to rely on it when working from home seeing clients. Sometimes reading ridiculous low temperatures in normal environments.

Simple and fast to use , no complicated setting up just 2 functions , body or surface.Compared to oral thermometer seems pretty accurate.Rarely registers the 'lo' error similar devices are prone to.

nothing to dislike, it is so easy to use and it gives you peace of mind

So simple to use. A must for Covid 19 detection. Keep out the contamination.
