Love this show !The characters the writing are genius!!Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought this for my Mum! I had been flicking through the channels when the battery ran out in the remote and as I had just sat down with a beer I couldn't be bothered to move (there was no football on) so I let the program run, I recognised some of the cast from other British stuff, before I knew it the episode was finished and I had laughed quite a few times. After a trip into the kitchen to get some batteries and beer I checked catch up to see if episodes were available as I was under the impression this had not been the first, they were and I did them all in two nights. Rather than have Mum/Dad faffing on with planner at their house I bought the box for her......... BRILLIANT.

Motherland series 1 had me howling from the first episode, rewinding scenes because they were hilarious. Series 2 was even better. They are all so funny in their own ways, especially yummy mummy Amanda. Highly recommend if you want some intelligent and brilliantly funny well written comedy.

I came upon this series by pure chance and quickly became hooked. I enjoyed it so much that I really wanted the dvd so that I could dip in whenever I feel like it. Delivery was fast and I'm a very happy customer.

Absolutely love this series. Very well observed and well written. I recommend it to all my friends who are parents, especially Father Ted (Graham Linehan) fans. Its the little thrown-in details (the broken phone screens, the baskets of laundry in the background) that also make it very real and relatable.

Loved season 1 more than season 2 but fab n funny performances all round
