which size of the screw should be used for fixing to ceiling ?

I would glue they fit well if you cut the right size hole

Sorry, don't understand 'micemebt. I found the unit to be well made and not too obtrusive. However, I couldn't fins a way to adjust the inner control disc from below. I could only adjust it from above, which for me is in the loft. I could be missing something. I also bought back draft flaps which I put in line on the exhaust side of the fan. This stops unwanted draft coming in on windy days.

Tried to install today, and I'm stuck. How do you secure the white white metal collar to the steel duct? It just falls straight through

There's a twisting motion to secure to an internal shallow thread if I recall. Then the centre bit can rotate against a screw/nut to enlarge or shrink the hole/gap.

Does this require a fixing collar?

I didn't use one, the 100mm hole was tight enough that it didn't need one
