Fits well as opposed to a more expensive one.
I’ll see if I like using it, but at least it fits in well.

Good quality but interferes with controls
The build and quality is excellent. You also have access to the button on the left of the thumb rest. However, it blocks the shutter dial and i cannot adjust shutter speed on the fly if this is on.

For the price, 5 stars
Seriously, Leica gets over $200?, Even Match Technical Is well over $100. While this does not fit as precisely as the other nor is it made of the same quality materials, but for the price? It's just a thumb support!

You get what you pay for
At the price point, it's definitely worth it – but it keeps me longing for a little something more. I knew what I was getting myself into, and I think it's fine, but it's that last 2% that leaves a little bit a bitter taste in your mouth. I don't like how it covered up the "Leica Camera" text. It's evident in the pictures, so it's not false advertising by any means. I also find the gap between the thumb grip and the camera to feel kind of frail. Not to the point of it breaking or falling apart, but I wish there was more substantialness to the overall feel. I think it also leads to a lever-effect that pulls the hot shoe plate slightly ajar. This grip does make holding and shooting your Leica Q2 with one hand a lot more comfortable. At this price, it's worth giving it a try. You can always go back to shooting without it, if you don't like it. I've kept it on if that means anything.

It'll get loosen and be lost eventually
it was okay for the first couple of months, then it started slipping out little by little and finally lost it on the street after 5 months of use.

Good quality, but not that useful (is just as good a Leica's $250 version)

Love/Hate thing -- Try it for yourself.
Note: I am using this JJC "Q2" grip on the original Leica Q. It works just fine. A lot of people suggest a thumbs up grip for the Q (or Leica cameras in general), and while I liked them on my previous Fuji cameras (X100 Series and X-Pro series cameras), I have to say I’m not really a fan of a thumbs-up type grip on the Q. While it’s true that a Thumbs-up style grip gives you a better purchase on the camera (especially in one-handed operation), The Q’s machined-in “thumb indent” is much more comfortable — for me (YMMV). I'd say try it out for a week or so, and decide if you like it or not -- for me, I prefer going without (though I kept it because it's inexpensive, and "just in case" I feel like using it).
