The real deal! (It’s better than gold!)
I was so happy to receive this Lebanon Bologna! We can’t get it in our stores anymore and we have missed it for sandwiches. This arrived nice and cold in a cold box with ice packs. As you can see, I tore straight into it for a taste and my mouth was watering! So delicious, moist, and well packed. It’s sliced nice and thin and there’s 14 slices per package with a total of 4 packs included in the order. Definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer! Thank you!

Ridiculously expensive but delicious
I grew up in the MidAtlantic and you could walk into any Giant grocery store and pick up a pack of Lebanon Bologna. I have fond memories of eating Lebanon Bologna sandwiches as a kid or snacking on it rolled up with cheese if you were being fancy as an adult. Now I live in the upper midwest and no one has even heard of it. There's plenty of cured meat products to be found up here but I find Lebanon Balogna to be the most sensual of all the salted, cured meats. IYKYK ;-) You'd think with all these cured meat loving Vikings up here there would be a close approximation but absolutely not.I was craving it really badly but the shipping price on the Seltzer's website was insane. On a whim I checked to see if Amazon carried it and of course it does because Amazon is the Harrods of yesteryear. They sold everything, even lions back in the day. With Prime, shipping was free and the package was on its way!The product itself is still criminally expensive when you consider it's just a pack of lunch meat but the heart wants what the heart wants (including bypass surgery if I keep ordering this deliciousness.) I ordered the four pack which I've been guarding like Fluffy guarded the Sorcerer's Stone and there are still three packs of delicious smoky goodness waiting in the freezer for me. It does freeze well so you can savor it over time.Besides the price, my only quibble would be the lack of a mix and match option. I would love to see a four pack with two original and two sweet. I can hear my arteries slamming shut just thinking about it.

The Original Article
As a kid growing up in SE Pennsylvania, this was the go-to lunch meat! I remember several different brands, but apparently none of them is still in business; but Seltzer’s, which I remember as the “Sweet Baloney,” has taken up the slack, and my taste-buds identify this as the ORIGINAL ARTICLE, tangy, fermented-and-smoked and an absolute treat! I’m 70+ years down the road from those days, but I plan to keep some of this in the fridge from now on! (The stores in my location never heard of it.)

Best bologna. But I grew up on it. You try it.
My family is from the area, so I learned that this is bologna. AND, it's smoked. It's definitely not an oversized, sliced. Hot dog. I hate that stuff, but my wife grew up on it so, that explains my opening. When I was a kid and our family moved , my aunt and uncle sent us a 3 pound unsliced bologna every Christmas. I looked forward to it.I was concerned about summer shipping. Packaging was perfect. The center gel pack was still half ice. The others were plenty cold. I'm a happy man.

Excellent!
I’d never heard of this till I watched a rerun episode of Dirty Jobs. I was so impressed with the process, the high quality ingredients and the people making it, I searched for it online. This is not your beef lip, cheeks and other assorted scrap bologna. It’s quality meat. The smoking process and all the other production processes were cool to see. Many of the employees had been there a long time. Anyway, I was sold and had to try it. The day I ordered it a big storm blew in. All shipments for the last 120 miles of transport to my area were delayed by about a week. I was a little worried. No worries needed though, the bologna arrived packed in a insulated cold pack like it had been in my fridge. Very glad I tried it and will order more. Good stuff!

a nice treat
Winter is the perfect time of year to order a few packages. They freeze and defrost with no degradation of quality.
