Cortas - Fava Beans (Lebanese Recipe) 14oz (6 PACK)

Delicious

I got these in a good time and they taste good, only thing I would like better is if they were dried and I cooked and seasoned them myself. I am going to use all the cans and probably order dry next time but maybe I will just buy the canned because it is so convenient.

I ordered a 6 pack of these beans (this particular variety of fava is not as easy to find as the large, flat white ones). I haven't opened a can yet, so I honestly can't comment on the flavor. However, 5 of the 6 cans in my delivery were dented. None seem to be compromised or "expanded". Perhaps this should be part of the product description? I will come back to update if contents are contiminated.**UPDATE** Opened my first can today and all seems to be fine. However, look closely at the photo on the can (which I didn't do). Half of the beans included are garbanzo beans, though the item says "FAVA BEANS: Lebanese Recipe). I like garbanzos, but I can easily find chickpeas (which I later noticed was included in the ingredient list); this type of fava bean is not as easy to find.

Could use stronger flavor

The cans were all dented - almost like they picked out dented ones to ship. I haven't found any leaks yet but it isn't very comforting knowing that there is potential for botulism.Regarding the brand- taste is usually great. Have tried this brand before and liked it.
