Kos Marco Polo Pocket Travel Guide - with pull out map (Marco Polo Travel Guides)

There's no real alternative guide available, which covers only Kos. Others are a wider scope, meaning you're paying for more than you need and carrying more than you need. The pull-out map is handy, so on some days I carried only that map when walking around. The latest version of the guide is now nearly 2 years old but I didn't find that a problem. I didn't use it for hotels or restaurants as we had already booked All Inclusive. The map was reliable which I found to be not the case with google maps for the remoter parts of the island. I also didn't see any locally-produced guide books which would be a good alternative to this one.

Great guide in general.Sometimes downplaying locations a bit and a few businesses were already closed again but probably due to Covid.

The guide is very accurate. Maps are great and superb ideas to make the most of a week in Kos.
