SHUR-LINE2007130 3 3060C Inch Trim and Touch Up Roller Kit

This is the second time I’ve ordered this kit; after four years, I was ready to get a fresh set. I love this small but mighty roller. Paint glides on smoothly and easily with perfect coverage, whether I’m using high end or cheaper paint. Because my hand is small, and I have a touch of arthritis, it’s often easier for me to work with this lightweight roller and roller pan than larger brushes. Sometimes I prefer it even on larger surfaces where most folks would use a 3-4” brush.

I wanted to like this, it was recommended on a blog about painting trim, as step to go at the end of a wet coat with a brush and smooth out the brush strokes. As it happened for me, this just wound up lifting the paint that I'd just laid about 1 out of ever 4 times I tried to do that. The problem there is, once it lifts some of the paint back off the trim, that bare hole that it left doesn't fill back in as nicely and it's hard to get an even coat after that. I also wasn't a great fan of the handle, it was kind of flimsy for my use (I do have fairly large hands so this may have been part of my discomfort, this is a very small tool.) It may be good if you need something disposable for a very small job, but for my purposes, it just wasn't as good as I needed it to be. (For what it's worth, I just went to brushing on my paint only, and it smoothed out with the grain just fine, this step wasn't even necessary for me.

I bought these for a 4 & 6 year old to paint some large boxes that they were using as "castles." They did the trick. I wouldn't have bought them for myself to use on a big paint project, but they were fun for the kids to use. They thought that they were fun and easy to paint with.

This product worked great. I used it to paint the window sill, edges around my outlets, and around the base boards. I also used it to smooth out brush stroke lines. The roller pads don't last that long so I would recommend buying a couple extra. I painted only 3 walls in a small room and the nap was pretty much destroyed. I think for the next time I paint I will go with a sturdier product that is not made out of plastic. This was my first time painting though and for what its worth it worked great.

I recently painted my coffee table and the previous time had used a brush for the top, which left terrible streaks. I sanded that down and started over with this little roller and it was absolutely perfect. My only complaint would be the "tray" is very thin plastic, but it was perfect for a 1 time job. Overall Satisfied with this purchase.

Okay for a small job. I used them when painting bathroom cabinets and using that giani counter top paint. I wouldn't use it on a bigger job, as I feel it would be too streaky.

This is the roller you want for window painting and wall murals... I feel like people want to use these for trim, and don’t like them for that reason, it’s definitely an artist’s tool.

This little tool was perfect for my weekend project. I had this really old coffee table that badly needed a makeover. I love how smooth the paint went on and just how easy it was to use. What I didn't like was the price. The exact item I was way cheaper at Lowes.

Good little purchase. Guess I wasn't expecting it to be so tiny, but probably should have read the fine print. Did a jolly good job.
