Great for a river float if you're not a larger person.
Used this on a river float recently and worked out very well. Certainly not suited for people over 175lbs though. I'm 165 and that felt close to it's limits because of the size of the tube.Have not towed with it but the outer layers protected the tube from a few rocks and dragging in shallow water while floating.

Worked great
Used at the lake for a fun family day. Help up well. Definitely has a hard time supporting anything above the weight limit, sinks if not moving at fast enough speed. Inner tube has some plastic that rubbed on leg when riding but overall worked for what we wanted, high quality outer material.
