Overall this is a wicked value for a beginners trumpet. Solid build and my only criticism is that the valves get a bit sticky after playing for a while but not a deal killer. It's allowing me to get back into trumpet playing without denting the wallet.

I ordered this not really reading the reviews. After I ordered, I read some of the reviews and got scared mine would be a poor waste of money. I just received mine today and am happy to say it is of great quality, came just as shown. Only thing I could say against it, which doesn't really count, was the buttons were pretty stiff but after lubing them they moved just fine. Has a really great sound.

When I first got the instrument it seems that the valves were out of sequence (I could not blow through the horn) and a little sticky. Being a novice, I was ready to stick it back in the box and return it. After I watched a few videos on YouTube, I figured out that if I resequenced them it may help. That plus a little valve grease now I have a working horn. I think most of the problems you have with buying online has to do with quality control when these products leave the manufacturer. Most of us are buying an instrument for the first time so we have no idea what to look for and how to troubleshoot.

For the money, it is awesome. Compared to a thousand dollar trumpet, it doesn't really compare though. But for a spare trumpet, when a parent doesn't want their kid transporting their expensive one from school back and forth, it works fine. My son and I were playing them together, and there is indeed a difference in sound with this cheap one, but it is for practice only, and as I said, is fine. I would still recommend it, but I wouldn't recommend it as the only trumpet, or for a concert where other people will need to here it.

My son loves his trumpet! It came in a beautiful case and definitely exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. It sounds amazing when he plays too.

Was very impressed by the product. Thought it would of been a low quality because of such a low price, but that was not the case. A high quality item. Love it

Unfortunately, the tone (timbre) of the horn was very bad. I thought I would start with this to see how it went, then upgrade later. I had to upgrade right away, and am having a great time playing trumpet again. I wouldn't want to donate this to a school or charity, I wouldn't want a young player to get discouraged, and not continue playing. I think it will end up as a decoration.

Kind of cheap. Didn’t last long at all and sounds terrible.
