WARN 88240 Gen II Trans4mer Mid-Frame Winch Carrier Kit , Black

Installed personally on my 2014 ford f150 fx4 ecoboost. It's a little tricky but if you're a decent do it you're selfer mechanic you can do it. The trans4mer works well if you're concerned as I was with my ecoboost don't be.

This product provides the strength needed for a heavy duty winch. I have a Zeon 10 and it was easy to lay in the tray and bolt on. Highly recommend for the strong applications. The instructions were weak, but there is not much to putting this together.

OK....product itself is great. I write only to say that you don't get everything in this picture in the box. The box ONLY contains the SS winch tray, the tow hooks and the bracket pieces shown in the second picture on the drop down of pictures to the left.HOWEVER, the instructions say nothing about how to use the brackets and the hardware was not correct. I had to go to the store to get bolts long enough to mount the tow hooks on each side. At the end of the day, I had a long L bracket and two right angle brackets left over as well as a good amount of nuts and bolts.It mounted directly on to the Mid Frame Mounting Kit (Warn 90140) with no adapters necessary and my WARN XD 9000 mated right up as well. So not sure why the reference to a need for the language "This winch mount requires a Warn installation kit to mount properly, part number 88070, kit sold separately." was in there...it's not needed. This was a heavy duty part but was useless without the mounting kit for your specific truck. The mounting kit is pricey

This was perfect and the assembly was a little easier then the bracket kit...would diffently recommend this to friends and family!

PERFECT fit for 2014 dodge ram 1500

I installed this winch mount kit along with the warn 88070 frame mount & 85140 grille guard on my 2012 F150 ecoboost. It Was a little tricky but not that hard. Fits perfectly around the inter cooler and does not block the airflow. Direction are not that great but you can figure it out. ( reason for 4 stars ) . I installed this in 3hrs by myself but this is not the first time I installed a winch mount and frame kit. MY TAKE LONGER IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME. Looks great and work well with my smitty built 8000lb winch.

Etremely heavy, really regret choosing this product...
