Elite Gourmet Double Cast Iron Burner, 1500W Hot Plate, Adjustable Temp

I bought the Elite Gourmet double burner as a backup cooking option and it’s actually been very useful. I started using this on a daily basis. Setup was simple—just plug it in and start cooking. Both burners heat up reasonably well and work fine for everyday tasks like boiling water, reheating food, and basic pan cooking. I found it easy to use with the simple knob controls and clear heat settings. It’s nice having two burners when I need extra cooking space, especially for meal prep or when my main stove is full. The cast iron plates hold heat well, but they do take a bit of time to fully heat up and cool down, so it’s not super fast like induction. You just have to plan a little ahead. Build quality feels solid for the price, and it stays stable on the counter while in use. Cleaning is also straightforward once it cools down. Overall, it’s a solid, affordable countertop burner that does what it’s supposed to do. Not fancy, but reliable and useful when you need extra cooking space due to its compact size.

This neat little countertop stove puts out plenty of well-distributed heat and doesn't take up much space. Heats up fairly quickly but doesn't draw so much current that it trips our 20 amp breakers during use. We ordered this little guy for our patio kitchen that has run for ages on a standard propane camp stove. We got tired of changing out bottles and dealing with the variable heat that camp stoves are famous for. The infinitely adjustable temperature knobs let us handle everything from pancakes to stir fry and cooking large pots of beans, etc. This little thing does it all with no fuss. The solid burners are wonderful. Stuff can't drop down under them. The heat is not perfectly distributed. Each burner has a hot spot in the upper edge, but letting it heat up for a few minutes before use takes care of that. With both burners running flat out it draws 1500 watts, which is about 12.5 amps, so it works fine on a 20 amp circuit. We've run this thing for hours on end with no problem. And all of that at a great price point. We paid for it the first time we didn't have to hook up a new propane bottle. We're wondering why we didn't do this years ago.

This was perfect for me to use when our stove top broke. Used this until we had the money to replace it. It does take a bit longer than a typical stove top to heat up. It’s a good quality and if I was the glamping type I would definitely use this.

Just got this today as a backup because my new stove is giving me problems plus I think they are good to have for extra burners and so on. Came well packaged and nothing damaged. I tested it by turning the knobs at a level 3 and some have said it takes to long to heat I did not have that problem. Then I turned it up to the hotter level and it gets hot you need to do this anyway to burn off small amouts of smoke. I ran it for about 3 minutes. I did notice once you shut this off and unplugged it does take awhile for it to become complely cooled so make sure that it is cooled before putting it away for storing. I think its pretty nice and at the price point its a good deal. Would recommend.

Great product. It was easy to set up and use. Served it purpose for a quick getaway. I was able to make breakfast quick and the controls are functionable. Not too much cleaning needed and very compact and easy to carry and transport.

I never had to use one of this hot plate; to be honest I didn’t even know that was the actual name for the electric cooking countertop thing. I’m basically rating it a 3 stars based on the durability of the burners. 14 days of lite cooking and already is showing signs of peeling or cracking. The heating performance I think is ok; the constant on and off every 5 minutes is in my opinion what makes even a ramen noodles soup take an entire 1 hr to cook. I guess it’s what I paid for.

I live in an RV and I faithfully cook on my double burner and it's been the best with cooking all my meals. The heat is like cooking on a stove top and the controls don't overheat. Material is strong and the appearance is nice.

Works well, heats faster than expected. I like the size, it fits nicely. The cord is fairly short.

Don't buy... Worst product coil failure in 3 months

Weak body structure I return the product aprox one month before but my money is not refunding till date

J'ai acheté ce produit au départ pour le camping mais c'est mon fils plus jeune qui s'en est servi pour se dépanner lors de son déménagement car il n'avait pas encore ses électroménagers chez lui à ce moment là et il m'a dit que ca allait très bien mais que ca prenait un petit peu plus de temps pour la cuisson. Le produit est bon
