Great movie. Feels just like the world we are currently living in, with the exception noone has turned the tables yet.

this is a wonderful story. totally believable and being set in san francisco rather apt. also ms elfman is a treat and real easy on the eyes. ron howard put together a story with the right cast and created a masterpiece that reflects the hazards of fame and the absurdity of REALITY TELEVISION. thankfully most of that kind of tripe is falling by the wayside. yet life goes on and the final resolution of this film is neat concise and makes it impossible for ed tv part 2. 5 well deserved stars.

This is very entertaining movie, good cast and plot.Really hit to nail predicting where reality TV would go.Could easily cut the movie length to hour and a half rather than 2 hours and 4 minutes.It would actually made it better IMO, help to keep a good rhythm on some slow moments.

I was not sure if I wanted to buy this dvd or not. Being a fan of Martin Landau I decided to do so by another fan. I was pleasantly suprised when it arrived early. The big thing is even if your not a fan of Mr. Landau this movie is a wonderful movie to watch.

This is sure one funny movie. It will give you a lot of laughs. This is a cross between the Truman Show and the reality TV show the Bachelor. This is for the Adults only crowd.

I was certainly not searching for the Collector's Edition of EdTV, but it was available at a better price than any other version. The bottom line is that I LOVE MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY and this is just another one of his movies that I added to my Matthew McConaughey Obsession Collection ; )

fun movie

A bit like The Truman show but enough differences to make it feel new. If you like the slapstick kind of comedy you'll like this one.

You can't go wrong with a film directed by Ron Howard.He always makes intelligent and highly watchable films and EDtv is no exception.The writers of this film raised it above the voyeuristic,shallow status of a big brother type programme, and gave us rounded and likeable characters who seemed to belong in the real world even when the cameras were present.Humorous,moving,surprising,and educational, the viewer learns a lot about people in this film.You should watch this film because it is for its two hours duration thoroughly entertaining.The bonus features include a 40 minute section of deleted scenes and long interviews with ron howard and the writers and actors.

A good film offering comedy, a bit of romance and more. One that can be watched by just about anyone and keeps your lady happy as there are enough romance bits without being soppy.

This is a great film which i absolutely love, Its full of twist and turns in the plot.What I mainly like is the love story thats not a main line but is cleverly weaved in the film.
