Love is Kind: A Swahili English Bilingual Book

This is a great book with English and Kiswahili writing however, I found that it had grammatical mistakes e.g., spelling of wikendi is wrong, some sentences are not complete "...Mkesia matawi makuu" should Matawi makuu ya mkesia, and a few others. I have corrected them in mine but the author needs to have a native speaker read and make edits. All in all we will be reading this book for a long time.

I bought this book for a little boy I am sponsoring in Tanzania. I am from the United States so I had it shipped here first. My little 7 year olds really enjoyed seeing how English can translate into Swahili. It is also a very sweet little story about what qualities make for a good friend. And how each of us are special. I thank the author for providing an authentic Tanzanian based book with spot on translations. I hope the little boy I send this too enjoys reading about his animal friends in the Serengeti while also getting and introduction with English that will hopefully help him in primary school. Thanks for a great book! Highly recommend...I even bought a second copy because my girls liked it so much.

I received the book but the contents was the contents of a entirely different book completely unrelated to Swahili or animals it even belonged to another author. Please, correct this. I will change my rating upon receiving the book that I chose with the correct contents. I guess the publisher or manufacturer had some type of mix up, was not able to upload the pictures that I took.
